Dunno about him but I am aiming to keep all of my hair on my head at this rate! Too many hair pulling moments at the moment.
Must be a wierd feeling having nowt to play for in january mate, cant remember a time that has ever happened to either of us
Well considering we never look like troubling the trophy engravers anyway, nothing has changed. All that is gone is the false hope.
We never were going to make the top 6. Top 8 is an achievement for a club like ours and should be possible. I'd say our current position is right.
I think they're having similar problems to us. The philosophy we play can lead to difficulty of breaking down the final third. They struggled with it last season with it so started this season tweaking it to be a bit more direct and offensive but it lead to them leaking goals, now they're trying to tighten up again which is leading to the old problem sneaking back in, they're struggling to score goals. Laudrup hasn't found the right balance yet. They'll be safe but still need a lot of work.

Its interesting that every single one of our relegation rivals form has nose dived whilst ours has soared in this period. We are also flying in the cup competitions to mirror that turnaround as well. We need to maintain that new found form but if we do, we may end up having a cracking finish after that horrendous start. We are rewriting the record books as we go under Gus.
True but they have been struggling all season long without really getting going. It's crazy to think that after the season we've had, the amount of time we've been written off and the fact we've not hit better than mid table form that we're only 4 points behind them
Are you worried about seeing Sunderland supporters at Wembley ........... it's a serious question. I'd hate to see Newcastle supporters celebrating at Wembley, something that's never happened in my lifetime and I'm 58
