Reading lots of stuff on twitter saying Tom Carroll to be recalled by Spuds - don't think he's been the superstar Harry was hoping for, but it's not been a good few hours for Harry...
I've only seen you play when you played us and I thought he was a 1 out of 10. Obviously he hasn't always been this bad, whats he been like? He was a player I wanted us to look at in the summer.
Haven't been impressed with Carroll at all to be honest. Very rarely shown anything. How he won MOTM for the game the other day is beyond me. I thought he was dreadful.
He was voted MOTM v Bolton the other night. I must have been watching a different game in some kind of parallel universe.
Lightweight, easily pushed of the ball. He's failed to live up to the hype that came when we loaned him.
He had two shots the other night, Jonny Wilkinson would've been proud of one of them, and the other was so wide I thought he was trying to play someone else in. Has he even had an assist this season let alone score a goal? Pretty poor for a forward thinking midfielder when you consider that we're second in the table.
I'm with Jack. When he is in the team we pass the ball much quicker as he doesn't need 6 touches to bring it under control, he is always available to receive the ball whether from the defence or the other midfielders and he looks for a forward pass. The lack of movement ahead of him is the issue.
There's a lot in this. I think he's improved a fair bit over the last few games, but some fans only notice the players that try to run through walls all game, like Mackie for instance.
I hope he has gone back, so that we can establish a CM partnership without him. He might well be a great player, but not now, not yet,
I rate him and think we should sign him permanently if we can. His only weakness is.... his weakness. But he'll get stronger and more experienced as he goes along and is definitely one for the future. He's played well with the big boys and when he gets bigger will come good and be like Faurlin.
