Live FA Cup Football on TV is shown in the UK by both ITV and BT Sport. ITV shows coverage from the first round onwards including 1 live game from the 1st and 2nd rounds, 2 live games from the 3rd round to the 5th round, 2 live FA Cup Quarter Finals and 1 Semi Final. BT Sport will show 2 live matches plus up to 2 replays from the 1st and 2nd round, 3 live games from the 3rd round to the 5th round and up to 1 live replay from each of these rounds, 2 live FA Cup Quarter Finals + 1 replay and 1 exclusively live Semi Final. The FA Cup Final Live from Wembley is shown on both ITV and BT Sport. So looks like it will be either tea time Saturday 8th or lunch time Sunday 9th as the other two slots have already gone. Which would be best?
This has already been discussed previously in a previous thread but, according to the Sunderland website last week the fixture could be played Sat teatime, Sun lunchtime or Mon evening. http://www.safc.com/news/ticket-news/2014/february/quarter-final-tickets
did you realize that this means we will have 5 home games in succession (Brighton, Newcastle, Sunderland, Man City, West Brom) before our next away game? That could change if we draw with Sunderland and need a replay,
It means I will be putting in a lot of miles once I get back from my current work travels. ~300 mile round trip each time I go.
Bit of not 606 before I get up The two north east teams within a week, having beaten Newcastle and Sunderland already this season you'd have to fancy us Sunderland depends - a week after the cup final which brought them joy or devastation A mastery of the ability to bounce to the moon again or rise from the soil and grow, we shall see Basically I'm just talking utter trollop and need a coffee
With West Ham being moved, there's a chance another game maybe moved. It's premier league rules that a team can play at home in the league no more than 3 times in a row. Although I have just realised whilst typing that the Sunderland game is obviously in the FA cup, not the league, and that we do only play 3 home league games in a row between Cardiff and Totalshithole away. Anyone ever heard of a team ending up with 4 home league games in a row on their fixture list after having an away league fixture moved for whatever reason?
="http://www.thefa.com/thefacup/fixtures" The FA site is only showing the Man City and Arsenal games as live on TV based on the earlier posts is this likely to change?
I suspect this will stand, its simply down to the cup and the way it all fell into place. I cannot see the FA interfering here. Including last night five games at the the KC, a rare treat indeed.
So does the FA website today. But we wait for ITV and BT to choose which 2nd game they each choose. Looks like either saturday tea time or sunday lunchtime 8/9th March.
We need this home run. We have covered alot of miles of late so a nice run @ home is most welcome. West Ham away in the PL on wednesday 26th march is our next away game followed by Stoke City away PL on the saturday 29th which is not that far away thankfully. NB. Our away PL fixture @ Manchester Utd set for saturday april 12th WILL BE POSTPONED IF Hull City make a wembley semi. Now that would be progress.
