http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...490&utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter I can see Giggs retiring at the end of the season and doing coaching on a full-time basis.
If as most of you want Moyes gets the elbow there's no guarantee that the new manager will keep any of his staff on including Giggs.
I think he does need to keep him on, deffo When Moyes came in throwing his weight around it was a mistake to get rid of all the people there. It was crazy and it doesnt take a genius to see it was going to be a mistake I made a thread on here about it at the time
I'm not too fussed about him coaching. Giggs was (and is) far more influential on the pitch than he will be off it. When he retires, he really will be the last of a generation of special players who had a particular ethos and ingrained United style of football. The relatively few games he plays now (although no longer as consistent in his performances), the younger players learn by watching him and listening to him.
I think he should stay as coach Sad isnt it? Will we ever get the Gerrards, Carra, Scholes, Giggs, G Neville again? No, I dont think we will
Was going to mention Gerrard. When he retires that's an end of an era for Livpl, doesn't mean a lack of success but a loss of an ethos driven by the mentality of specific players like him and Carra. With United, you can track the way we developed our style and mentality through players like Irwin and Bruce and then Cantona, Keane and the class of 92. I can't see anyone at the club who gets that. United will go the way of other clubs in that respect (mechanical team-building). And looking around (possibly with the exception of Everton) I can't see anything resembling that mentality of players coming through.
