A) "Can't build a new stadium without foundations" Q) what do you think about rovers being relegated? A) "tbh not surprised. Shame cos is a huge club and people who work their socks off might lose their jobs." Q) what do you think of the situation at Bristol rovers? Whose to blame? A) "players past managers Back room staff and board."
Q) what’s the real problem at Rovers? A) "lots no direction. Clubs got into a bad habits players come and go and managers same people at the top still." Q) Can you give more details A) "yep u support all the players who couldn't give a monkeys, miss training and lose games and it never bothered them." Q) Prepared to name any names? Or if not, are any of them still at the club now? A) "let you work that one out one has gone and some have left." Q) didnt the rest of the players have 'words' with them? A) yes many times can't baby sit them 24/7! Q) we're these players youngsters or experienced pros? A) "young mate" Q) Was one them Norburn? A) "yes" Q) norburn and Harrison have been mentioned on the forum along with clucas and Parkes... A) "first two when I was their yes last two wouldn't know they were good as gold when I was their." Q) do you think their agents have a lot to answer to? They seem to be the slime of footbal A) "shacks agent thought he was something he wasn't." Q) What made you sign for BRFC and do you feel like you made a mistake in signing for us? A) "cos I was told lots of good things about the club. Shame it didn't deliver." Q) You appear to have a hidden agenda with the board? A) "No problem with the board just how its run, too many corners cut. The fans hammer the ones that give 100% and love the lazy ones" Q) was Bristol Rovers the worst run club you have played for? A) "yeah it's up their mate yes." Q) do you think Nick Higgs knows anything about football? A) "yeah it's up their mate yes. Not sure what he knows about football never spoken to him about that so don't know." Q) worst club you played for? A) "all been good clubs mate u want me to say rovers but made good friends their." Q) if you could lay the blame at one level of the club, coaching staff/players/board where does the blame A) "it's everyone one top to bottom, but as a footballer improve as a player and team you need things in place and rovers didn't help." Q) Who of the directors has the most input and does the manager be left alone to manage ? A) "sure Nick Hicks has the most input. Sure the Manager is left to pick the team. But sure Nick says what he thinks as well" Q) What was your first thought when McGhee named you upront in the starting line-up against Wimbledon? A) "my knee is hanging off and I shouldn't have played!" Q) Don't sign injury prone rubbish on huge wages. (WASNT AN ACTUAL QUESTION) A) "we were not injured when we turned up! 8 acl injuries two retirements! We were all ok before" Q) so what in particular meant you picked up injuries? Training on a **** pitch... Coaching staff? A) "well injured players are sent to David Lloyd on their own for rehab. Hence so many break downs when they return" Q) no issue with Phil Kite though? Die hard gas head that man, had a few words with him in tears yesterday. A) "that's your opinion."
Q) Do you know without details if there has been a scandal amongst players this season A) "no idea mate so I can't say tbh. My guess the younger players think they have made it and are no where near making it long term!" Q) are all the managers at Rovers over the last 8 years to blame or are the factors that have led to their lack of success? A) "yeah some" Q) would you say the board have led to managers failing? Or a culture within players already there? A) "bit of both most of players do live right younger ones think they are better than what they are. Board take blame as well." Q) what was the mood like after they lost a game? A) "some players would take it to heart more senior ones. Not sure if the young lads really cared tbh" Q) There always seem to be lots of injuries at Rovers is this down to facilities, preparation/fitness, or just pure bad luck? A) "prevention is better than cure and their is no prevention." Q) so are you saying that the fitness conditioning was amateurish compared to other clubs you played for A) "yes" Q) Who is the worst manager you have played for? Why? A) "buckle probably made me head balls for 30 min once never forgave him" Q) Ellis Harrison. ****test attitude you've ever played with? A) "just needs to be pointed in the right direction he is a good lad but gone to his head a bit."
Q) Are Bristol Rovers fans the stupidest you've played for? (city fan) A) "don't know, Paul Buckle had a different word" Q) can you see them getting back within the next couple of seasons Adam? (city fan) A) "a Bristol City fan asking me a serious questions.." Q) whats your view then? (same city fan) A) "play off final 2004.." Get facts right" Q) what do the players really think about the fans paying all money to go to games? Do they care? A) "yeah most of the players do care yes. And players you give stick to are ones who care that's the problem sometimes." THATS IT!
Yes. Except he needs to sort out 'their' and "there' - he went to a ****ing posh expensive school (same one as Ian Hislop FFS), no excuses!
Also AV sounds a bit bitter over grief he got for being mediocre. Strange how two defenders who have been legends for Brighton, Virgo and El Abd, have come to Bristol and been distinctly underwhelming.
AV done well at Yeovil to not sure about Celtic it must be just our club ****s players up like some have said the club is rotten to the core
Wow. Your club seems like its poisoned from player to board. Reading most of that and you cant say it was a "shock" you were relegated, seemed to be a lot of unrest and half assed attitude from everyone involved at BRFC..... If you don't get it right first time in the conference, you may be there for some time! Perhaps going down.... could just be the best thing that happened for your club, maybe now everyone will take a look at their selves and makea change for the better. One things for sure, you'll lose a lot players but at least you will see some of your youngsters playing.

Wasn't it obvious he is a ****e physio? May be a lovely bloke but **** me, how many injuries can a club be cursed with before you start to ask questions? Him, and the coaching staff need to go and allow new, fresh blood in through the doors
