FAO Bristol City Members (UPDATED)

This thread will be closed but able to read. It's not one for discussions but only a message to our Bristol City members.


Following the closure of the Bristol Rovers Official Forum. Some rovers fans from that site have moved onto here (Bristol Rovers Board) as a way of keeping in touch with fans of their club. We know as fans our self this site is a great way to talk to fellow Bristol City fans about everything and anything regarding our club. The same obviously stands for the gas. We have built our forum up and have made it one of the most successful on the site, I know myself that it can be hard, not only to attract new members, but even harder to keep them on here. Bristol Rovers now only have the 1 option (Not606), unlike our fans. If they don't like it here then they will settle for OTIB. From my knowledge rovers fans only have this site now to come on to, to interact with their fellow fans.


Now I write this message, not as a demand but as a request. If you want to visit the Rovers forum, you can but please stick to the banter threads for any banter/digs etc... Of course you can ignore this, go on to any of their threads and WUM. I'm not telling you, you're not allowed too but you face the possibility of being banned from their site. They are trying to build their forum and members up and have requested that us city fans respect their wishes and leave them too it and stick to the banter threads and not ruin other threads which could potentially keep new members from commenting.

I'd like to reiterate. These are NOT mandatory requests. You do as you wish on this site and that's how I want it, and that's how our reds want it, it's one of the reason why our board has been so successful. If you want to go onto the rovers board and continue to give them ****, then do so, i'm not stopping you and im not saying you aren't allowed. Only that you will possibly be banned from their site if you do so as that's their rules, not the way we have managed things but that's the way they do. I spend most of my posting time on here as this is where I like too. If a rovers member comes on here and reads what I've wrote and doesn't like it..... well **** um, this is our board. If I went onto their board and wrote something they didn't like, then they would have the same response.

Don't take the thread as a warning or threat from me as it really isn't. It's just simply a message, do with it what you will. Myself I shall continue posting as I have from day one. The way I want too, I know you will all do the same as that's your decision (and its the right one, why would you want to be restricted in what you do?). If you don't like it then I advise you move to OTIB where you have to live by stricter rules and everyone stays in a single line... This IS the better site, well for Bristol City fans anyway, so enjoy it. If you have and problems or questions then please send me a PM (personal message)
