Cesc Fabregas has agreed a deal to join Chelsea, talkSPORT understands. Sources close to the player have confirmed the Barcelona midfielder will return to the Premier League in a £30million deal after being told he can leave the Nou Camp, three years after departing Arsenal to rejoin to his boyhood club. The 27-year-old Spanish international will be signed as a direct replacement for Frank Lampard, who has revealed he is leaving Stamford Bridge and looks set for a move to new MLS franchise New York City. Manchester United were also keen on Fabregas, but Jose Mourinho has won the race to sign him and his arrival will be a huge boost to the Blues boss as he sets about toppling Manchester City as Premier League champions. Decent player for Chelsea, they're going to have to release a few midfielders on the fringes and with Poyet's connections maybe you'll see one or two coming in your direction on loan or permanent. From my point of view, hopefully Van Gaal will pursue Kroos again now, who's more suited to United than Cesc Fabregas is.
Pass. I think Van Gaal being linked to all the Dutch team is just lazy journalism, hopefully no truth in this one. Sneijder was a baller in his day mind, his last move killed his career, he'll be off to UAE next or something I'd imagine.
Interesting, they could potentially have a front 4 of: Lukaku Hazzard Fabregas Oscar They have a glut of decent midfielders, I am not surprised they sold Mata now.
Apparently real are about to offer £85m or €100m for suarez, wouldnt suprise me if they match it, early signs would suggest chelsea are going for it
