Just thought it'd be nice to have a Rumour/Transfer thread on the board to accommodate all rumours as we are just posting separate rumours at the moment.

I'll start us off...

£15m rated Brazilian playmaker, Diego, has issued a come-get-me plea in not so many words. He's currently 26 so is sort of on the verge of the NESV policy and he currently plays for Wolfsburg who look to be in a relegation battle at the moment.

He's quoted as saying: "I am honored that such a club has set their eyes on me," “They are one of the most prestigious teams in the world. Playing for them would be an honour.”

It seems to me that he knows he's leaving at the end of the season or else he wouldn't have said those things. Most likely Comolli has agreed a pre-contract with him as well and that these quotes are to sweeten the fans up before he moves in the summer. Since Wolfsburg are looking more and more likely to get relegated he may go for cheaper than expected, and with the possible Juventus switch for Aquilani we could do with another creative mid to fill the space Alonso left, even if he's just a sub, another creative mid couldn't go amiss.

I like Adam though! Just think he is being priced out of a move by his club. He is also proven in the Prem if we could get him for 8-9 mil I would welcome his signing.

How many times have these "Rulers" of European football won the European Cup? to a lesser extent how many times have these rulers won the Uefa Cup?

Can you remember 2006 when you didn't get past the first round? In the last 10 years Man Utd have been knocked out in the quarter final as many times as they have featured in the semi finals or later - thats not the form of a Ruler.

You lot win all the trophies you can, make the most of it because your losing money hand over fist and it wont be long until you're back scrapping around the mid-table... although fergie may delay that for a year or so if he begs Giggs & Scholes to stay another year

i didnt do that one just saw it ...... its photoshop pretty simple its just layers etc .......loads of tutorials on youtube

it's pretty easy to do,

use magnetic selection to cut round messi's head, resize it to a similar size to the head on the stock photo, place it on the stock photo touch up the background stock layer with blur to make it look tidy - viola!

The Diego one excited me for sure as I rated him at Santos, def at WB, and he was touch and go at Juve but when he is on, he can completely change the game. Also with having Lucas and Raul in the squad, the language barrier will not be too big an issue.

I saw on the original 606 talking about shirt sales and this and that for reasons to buy players. It would help yes but i do not think it would affect the decision to buy a quality player. The names I threw around were Honda and Shinji Kagawa (B. Dortmund) as being extremely talented and help in sales. I remember people slating SAF on buying Ji-Sung park and that it was all about shirt sales but look at the job he has done for that team!

I see the same names being thrown around but can't but think there is an Ace somewhere hidden. If this Diego one is true, who saw that coming for example?

Rumours today that Villareal want Lucas and Villa want Rafa.

No way would they get Lucas, and for the amount they're talking about they can forget even asking about him. To us he's worth about 20m, give it a few years and he'll be worth 40m. He just needs to continue improving!

What are they offering? I hate to get rid of players that would be good squad players or starters, it is the el zhars, plessis, poulsen, type players we need to get rid of!
