Hey guys how are you doing?

While you guys were at home in the warm tucking into your dinner watching the Canadian GP... I on the other hand was rocking out to linkin Park in the rain covered in Mud and shivering my arse off not knowing that I was to return to a destroyed soaking wet tent <ok>

Anyway I got home last night and watched Qualy and the race and It looks like I missed a craker! Though Part1 was not on BBC iPlayer I didnt look like it contained much as there was a Red flag or something and safety cars?? But watching Button coming from last to win the race was great. He also made the invincible Vettel Crack!

Roll on the European GP! Im predicting an Alonso comeback myself as he was looking good in the last few races in dry conditions and another chance to get a good result on home ground. Please discuss your thoughts on all things Euro GP here!

Race Details:

From The BBC
Valencia, Spain, 24-26 June
Friday 24 June: Practice one - 0900-1030; Practice two - 1300-1430

Sunday 26 June: Race - 1300

In there with Lewis, only because I think it is too close to call between him, Jenson, Vettel and Alonso.

The romantic in me hopes he has cleared his head after playing bumper cars with Jenson and storms it. He's had a good run at this track since 2008 so it looks promising.

However, I believe Alonso may actually prove me wrong...

lol why does LewisWDC's score keep doing down? In fact, how is that even possible?

You missed a fantastic race.

I should really be voting for Vettel in this poll, but I can't help but vote for Alonso. He'll bounce back I'm sure, but Red Bull will be too good here imo, although I understand Renault and Red Bull are very unhappy with the off throttle exhaust ban, so maybe (hopefully) Valencia will be last place that Red Bull will easily dominate.

Because of the imminent ban, I wouldn't be surprised to see Newey testing out some new innovation that will recover some of the time lost by the ban. Ferrari are doing another Vairano aerodynamic test on the 17-18th June, but I think this is for Silverstone, but we'll see.

Hasn't Lewis finished every race here in P2?

I'm going for Vettel again. Won here last year and looked mutinous with himself after throwing away a win. Like Hamilton I think he'll arrive here feeling like he has something to prove, unlike Hamilton I think he'll react to it positively.

Going for Vettel for same reasons as AG, plus I really need to get one right, I have not been voting Vettel out of hope he wil not win.

Going for Alonso.....c,mon time for the fightback. Of course this seems to be a circuit that suits RBR down to the ground but last weekend showed anything can happen

I've not voted yet but I disagree with the suggestion that Hamilton will not bounce back. Vettel will be strong of course but Alonso on home turf could end up the winner. Then again, Button must surely be in the equation somewhere. - Could be another very close race…

dunno, but last wednesday I was just about to press the JB button and switched to LH, what a ****. Gonna wait until I see what the weather will be like, but I fancy a SV vote (so if my vote doesn't count like at Turkey and Spain where i voted for SV and it didn't go through, despite mentioning prior to the vote closing i was gonna vote for SV, If it doesn't accept then I am voting for SV, please note if no vote has gone through count it as a vote for SV)

What are the compounds for the race? Ferrari have shown good pace recently but isn't that partly down to Monaco and Canada using soft/super soft combo. If we're going back to medium or hard then I imagine they won't be on quite the same form.

Medium and Supersoft, unless they get a load of bad feedback regarding the medium compound, which I don't think they have.
