Was on the bus today going to work and an old woman came on and I was just about to give her my seat when I noticed a cross round her neck, so I didn't bother. Does that make me a bigot?
Protestants wear crosses too. You meant to say a crucifix didn't you? You messed the thread up. Back to the drawing board squire.
She probably needed to get some circulation going monaco, dont worry about it. She probably died half an hour later anyway.<shipman>
Not any Protestants I know wear them. Church of England sometimes wear them though, so you can shove your drawing board up your stretched arse...squire!
There was a time when growing old was something to be revered as a sign of wisdom. Now though it seems that the elderly are shunted to one side after they reach a certain age and people spend all their hard earned cash to 'stay young'. I think that is sad.
I don't. Old people get on my tits. You can't get on a bus in Edinburgh for them and their ****ing free passes, especially during the rush hour when the old ****ers decide that's the best time to pop to Tesco for some shopping.
I have gone off old people lately.I have had loads of old customers come in and they dont half waste your time.Asking the ins and outs of a bats arse.Just ****ing buy the kitchen ya old **** then i smile.
When I lived in Britain I was shocked at the way the elderly were treated. I walked this old woman across the Oldham Road in Manchester once and you would have thought I had handed her the winning lottery ticket. She told me there was no gentlmen left. The comments by Cooper and Stereo bear this out. The Irish, like the Italians, have great respect for our elderly reletives.
Old people are invariably ****ers. Many that I deal with seem to think the world owes them something, like they automatically deserve respect for not dying for 6 or 7 decades. If an old fella fought in the war, then fair enough, I might respect him automatically, but not otherwise, and especially not if they're rude and bad-tempered as they often are.
That's because both countries are full of work-shy alcoholics who run away at the first sign of trouble.
I have never been anything but kind and patient to old folk.I can call them all the old ****ers in my mind but never ever to their face. Just ask ER
That man is the Archbishop of Canterbury. The head man, after the Queen of course, in the state church of Britain. Boss of Prods if you like. He has a cross round his neck. Stop cursing.
