I look at the tags sometimes, occasionaly they make me laugh, they can be crude, childish and sometimes pretty offensive but i'm an adult so it seldom really offends me. It did not bother me that the poeple adding them were doing so in anonimity, sometimes it's funnier because you don't know who added it but i'm afraid i'm starting to think they are pointless. (the tags that is\) I know what their purpose was meant to be, but the simple fact is they are not being used for their intended function, in fact they are being abused now beyond belief. I would get rid of them, it seems we have a few racists onboard who are not content with posting their own disgusting views in an open forum, now they are using the tags to hide their prejudice behind. Doubtless we will see some tags on this thread which will prove my point, however I don't think this is a subject which should be ignored, If I wanted to see ****e about "pakis" ******s" and "Die Paki Die" I would join up the the NF forum. Get rid of this affront and let the racists get the abuse they deserve if they want to post on a public forum.
The tags are good craic. You shouldn't let a few tossers spoil it. Maybe make the words 'paki' '******' and such like swear words so they are blocked like other swear words?
I think we can guess who the guilty parties are when it comes to leaving racist tags but I don't think getting rid of them is the answer. They can be funny at times and coming up with new ways to insult ER using his initials is always a challenge!

As I said I have no problem with that but a dozen funny ones are not a decent price to pay for one racist one.
i love the tags. most of them are crossing the line a bit but they're still the best part of the forum for me
