Well Sky sports highest ever viewing figure is 4.049 million viewers for the Manchester footy derby last May, so I doubt the F1 channel will ever be able to cater for the amount of F1 fans the BBC can

I don't think so, when I get to choose between BBC and Sky I will always choose BBC as they can go longer than 10 minutes without mentioning something about involving McLaren and I'm part of the majority here.

Sky's ratings will probably increase though soon, the football season starts in a fortnight, there will be new stupid people subscribing for the big sport pack thingy, so some may watch the f1 whilst waiting for a match.
