Just reading a new article on the OS about Schneiderlin, where he talks about getting not only into the Prem, but also breaking into the France squad. This got me thinking...

How long do we think he will be around with us for? Could he turn into a club icon in the future, having stuck with us through the thick and thin?

On the topic of future icons, out of our current crop, who is most likely to be mentioned in the same breath as the likes of Le Tiss and co?

Obviously it depends who sticks around for a while, but looking at the like of Lallana, Fonte, Cork...am I getting too far ahead of myself? :p

I think that Lallana is most suited to the role of "icon" as he's a fan favourite and is our best player.

With Lallana, Cork and Morgan - we've already got 3 of our future Prem midfield IMO.
