M'Vila and Hutchie for me. Two midfielders I properly adored. Hutchie the best of the lot. That bloke just made things happen.

    Hutch and Catts for me

Hutch was brilliant for us - a winner and a larger than life character. the 2nd 3-2 win at St James's and the win at Stamford Bridge stand out

Catts gets in because he's been with us ages and is a good captain. So was Bally, but Catts is a better CM

I've gone for Ball for his sheer commitment in a tackle & Reyna cos he was pure class.
    Difficult choice like.

Ball has to be in for me. Heart and commitment personified. I've gone for Schwartz as well, as he was class, although Reyna and Hutch were top notch anarl. Would have liked to have seen Gavin McCann on the list though...

I knew this would be the hardest one yet to call.

Imo, Jan Kirchhoff is the most talented footballer our football club has ever seen so I've had to put him in. The rest could have been anybody, I've gone with Hutchison who was just ahead of Bally.

Gone with Ball & Cattermole, similar types but full of commitment, others like M'Villa, Renya etc weren't here long enough to get my vote.
Every club needs players who will give 100% every week and those two do so in spades.

Yeah I forgot McCann, fair shout.

I'm just going off the top of my head, though.

Feeling a bit sentimental, so went with catts and sess.

M'Vila, Kirchhoff, Zenden and Giac were terrific though, when fit.

Don Hutch the stand-out on that list. The last Englishman to score in an international at the old Wembley.

M'Villa probably the other best player but I'd go for Ball without doubt.

McCann, Rae and Reyna all decent shouts though.

There are some class players on that list and on a different day I could probably have gone for any of 9 of them but today I went for a club legend and a player who should have been a legend. Ball and M'Vila.

M'Vila & Kirchkoff - Just for the pure fact that it's the 1st time in a very, very long time that our Midfield looked the dogs doo-dahs!!! Had Allardyce stayed these two in my opinion would have moved a class ahead!!

Schwarz and Hutch for me but Alex Rae was one of my all time favourite CM's we have had, scored a few belters as well.
