I chose schwarz and Hutch before the list came up. I will stick with my choice even though it was much harder than I thought.
Went with my heart Bally and Catts, whatever their limitations technically both would die for the club. Almost fans on the pitch
Tough decision this one, lots of good players there. I went with the steel and silk combination of Ball and Kirchhoff, I think they would have been great together. Not romantically, on the pitch.
I didn't read the posts before I voted and we are just about agreed, word for word. Reyna for his class. Ball for his 100% approach and being one of us.
Age really is a factor here. I'm sitting here wondering why the **** anyone wouldn't vote for Hutch....
He played a lot for us as a right winger as well as centre mid, not sure we knew his best position 100% Was when he went to Liverpool where they properly molded him into a CM.
I remember Bally cleaning some poor **** out one time we played West Ham at the Boleyn. Bulldozered him from behind with both feet. Straight red card, couldn't really defend it but he took one for the team that day.
After last seasons sh*t displays I have gone for this team Catts and Bally. Them two f*ckers in midfield getting in everyone's faces and total commitment to our cause. Obviously they lack a bit of creativity....lol....other than putting people on stretchers. I liked Catts and M'Vila and if we had different times I think M'Vila and Hutchinson could form a dynamite partnership in there. Tough one this one I must admit...but sticking with Catts and Bally....
Clearly Hutch is the most influential CM we've had in my lifetime, and Yann would be the perfect compliment to him. Schwartz was very close to Yann, I actually changed my vote.
Annoyingly so, Bruce tried to develop him into a larrson/beckham style right midfielder just as the game was changing and they no longer fit the systems and were easier to play against.
