So facts with a reliable source may be based on a rumour and could in fact turn out to be bullshit. It really is hard to know what to believe these days. Edit. The words fact, rumour and bullshit can be interchanged in any order you wish.
Now we're talking.....although I doubt it http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2016/07/2...mier-league-strikers-hull-have-made-loan-bid/
Doubt the bid just came in. West Ham chairmen said they had a bid rejected for a lb on Thursday. More likely Burnsy realised he's wrong and has started backtracking.
Sullivan confirmed a bid for a left back yesterday. It was Robertson for sure. If we loose him then we are 100% ****ed for sure. Him and Moses were our two best players last year. Without them we will struggle big time.
Look.... it was certain to happen. It was purely a matter of time. Abel will be next. !! I wonder what Robertsons conversation with his agent is going like... and what percentage sell on would be in the Robertson sale.
It would be a poor move for him anyway. He's probably got the potential to be better than Cresswell, but Cresswell is currently the better player. He'd play a handful of games at the start of the year and then more then likely find himself on the bench.
Would be a good move for Robbo...Westhams owners are a couple of pricks but they know talent when they see it. £7m is about £5m short though. Just testing the water I expect...
That's why I'm saying he'll play for the first 3 months of the season then be benched. How many games is that? He'd probably get 15 including cup games over the season.
With the squad as it is - should now be what Robbo is worth to the team and the club... quite frankly I wouldn't let him go for less than £20mill. He is VITAL to the team having any shred of success this season, the way things are heading.
If it wasn't for our situation at 15 i'd sell and promote Josh Tymon and hope he makes the leap. When Robbo came here he was lauded in the same way Josh has been. I just hope that we are doing the sensible thing and making the club an attractive proposition for him and get his signature sorted for a 4 or 5 year period albeit with a significant buy out clause.
If they sell Robertson while currently being down to 8 fit outfield senior players, they need their heads examining. No wonder they said no, but I do have the sneaky suspicion that if the Spammers come back with another 3 -4 million they`ll accept.
