He's got a habit of being involved the right place at the right time to score goals, just like Lampard. Seems to lack in most other things imo

Empty seats is a disgrace, ground should be in the middle of the country literally as close to dead centre as possible. The ticket holders seats of the hob nobs who have paid for them should have to inform wembley whether coming or not with 48 hours notice, then tickets should be given to those less fortunate on a waiting list via a lottery.

I'm not watching today's game. Rarely watch England nowadays as I find games against League Two standard teams boring.

Lallana played well I thought. Set up Vardys goal with lovely pass and looked most creative player on pitch.

Alli is just another typical english can shoot so lets stick him up top grafter.

Now that might be harsh but that boy is no playmaker. He can run fast and shoot. Hes got some talent but hes just not a creative player in the way a playmaker would be considered.

Look at the players who were. Zola, Bergkamp, pirlo, ronaldinho etc etc.

Alli is all about phyisical attributes and not about that creative spark of genius

When he has fast intelligent players around him he links things together very well, if others are taking 5 or 6 touches and doing 360 degree turns all the time then things break down.
Alli is much more than a physical player but does have that in his game when needed.

Hes a runner. An athlete. Hes got a great shot on him but hes not christian erikson is he?

    Never will be.

Erikson makes spurs tick. When hes off form spurs are weak.

Obviously it was a horrendeous error by lfc to miss this 5mil bargain but he is still not a no 10

You are comparing chalk and cheese, would you have 2 Ericksons in your team? they do different jobs.

    thats an excellent point.

The original question was is alli a no 10 and you just answered it. He's not. he's different. England lack the no 10 and thats just a fact.

IMO alli is a cm pushed on like pogba cos they can score a few. they could be worldies in the right position in the middle and doing that but in england we seem to have a mental illness about just pushing any midfielder whos half decent too far froward.

kick and rush mentality IMO. In many ways paul scholes was a complete fluke as he did the opposite. Couldn't tackle for **** but was a real play maker.... and what did england do... alienated and dropped him. And him being stubborn he told them to **** themselves.

I think the club will have to accept a running track if that's what it takes to get this off the ground. The council have already said the stadium is a key part of the CG bid so that surely must be with a track? Like you say it could be a temporary raised track and it will have to be considered in the design process. I think the council's involvement in all this, while it has brought a solution to securing the location for EFC, also looks like compromising the build. LCC are looking to put a venue hire clause in the contract as well so they can use the stadium on agreed dates for their own purposes. Let's hope Joe's personal [mayoral] agenda isn't going to mess this up for you lot.
