interesting chart. highlights the issues with origi, in that he doesn't look like he does enough... he can score goals when supplied ball but the others are "busier"

Salah is a hard worker as well, combined with the output.

£39m in this market for one of the best performing attackers across Europe is really good business ...

I hope Mane's injury is not going to affect his output in the coming season.

well we will see won't we s it will only be good business if he performs for us & the team have success.
i do like what he brings to us though but you can never be certain it works out.

<laugh> the look on Mourinho and Ronaldo's faces just now when Di Maria said "yeah we were all fiddling taxes at Real, sorry here's the €2m I owe"

Mourimho issued a statement saying he settled up and got tax clearance suggests they dinged him already and press are behind the 8 ball.

Ronaldo is just too mean to fess up and pay pocket change 14m8l when he made 100mil last year alone.

Some very dodgy stuff over in Spain.

Ronaldo, Mourinho, Di Maria, Messi, mascherano...

    It does seem endemic.

At least i suppose their authorities are tackling it finally.

I remember when real were bailed out by spanish government buying their training ground as a bung od 209 od mil to clear their debts.

This is an open invitation for our rival friends to come here and pass comment on our judgement of every player we buy...;)

He didn't actually pull up many trees at Chelsea did he?

tbf he didn't get many opportunities .
it always felt like it was another one of those Chelsea transfers which were more about stopping a "rival" club buying someone than they particularly wanted him themselves.

Think he was an Emanelo signing.

The mans got his hands over loads of signings that managers have decided they didn't really want to play. Thats why theres a massive squabble between conte and the club at the moment as he's essentially our director of football.

yeah their model is smell someone who's decent especially if lfc are too incompetant to agree a miserly 11mil fee... see the profit, loan for a year and sell.

they cleared what 5/7 mil first time plus 2.5 now... its easy money and never had any intent of playing him. Just saw a guy who was going cheap and did what they do with what 30+ loanees a year?

we basically dillydallied on 2 mil and spent 20 mil more a couple years later <laugh>

It would be worth it if he does the business. <ok>

I'm just a bit hesitant about players who do well abroad. You can never be sure how well they will perform here.

yeah he was the worst LB i've seen in a while. he certainly didn't look right day one for mourinho.

Oscar was a great big corrupt chinese deal... that was like a huge stroke imo. The books might say 60mil or whatever but i reckon RA gave a nod and it was 30mil from his back pocket in with their 30 mil.

Its a chinese belief that only brazilans can play football. someone in brazil sold them this idea and has made a killing selling them over rated brazilian flops.
