You could try a contract containing a ream of "termination with immediate effect" clauses (imprisonment, unworkable community service quota etc) , but that still leaves the transfer fee. Too much like hard work IMHO.
Nothing more "decisive" to say than : - You are an ingrate ( *** ) - Know your place regarding the transfer activities of the club - STFU in public and focus on getting fully match-fit ASAP *** Use Google if you need to find out what "ingrate" means
Of course we wouldn't be that stupid Oh wait Transfer news (13:00 update) Tottenham are close to an agreement with Paris St-Germain to sign defender Serge Aurier, 24, for £23m. (L'Equipe)
That is some youth team PNP. Ive a feeling it will be one of Sancho or Sessegnon though, wish we could get both but even one of them would give us something to get excited about. Our U23's, aside from Edwards is pretty average but a bit further down the line in the lower age groups we have some more fantastic players coming through - Oakley Booth who we saw pre season, and Tanganga and Eyoma two very highly rated defenders. Oliver Skipp who at 17 is playing a level above his age, Phoneix Patterson is one to watch out for and Troy Parrot who we bought in from Ireland recently. We really are going to have some fantastic youngsters around the place.
This is from wiki - so pinch of salt. If true, can someone spot the potential problem? On 26 September 2016, Aurier was found guilty of assaulting a police officer outside a nightclub in Paris. He was sentenced to two months in prison, but remained at liberty pending an appeal.[73] Although UK authorities granted Aurier a visa in October 2016, it was revoked on 16 November due to his conviction, and as a result he missed the UEFA Champions League match against Arsenal in London that month.[74]
Breakdown in relationship? Seriously? How about...due to being a greedy twat who : 1) thinks it makes him a big man to state that "he has opinions and no one will keep him quiet" while at the exact same time complaining like a 2 yr old cos he had to listen to the opinions of others when he was playing poorly. 2) signing a new contract (stating how happy he was) in December... then (after not playing since February) in August complains that he is not getting enough even though he has done nothing to justify a pay rise. 3) wrecking the build up to our season by giving an interview to the Sun slagging the club and his team mates off. I will be seriously pissed if we sell the prick. Make him sit out the season and miss out on the world cup. ****ing not enough?...if he stayed on his miserly contract he will get just under £4m per year for 6 years. That's £24m. He has been with us for 10 years and in that time he would have earned at least another £10m. That's £34m without any signing on fees, bonuses, and endorsements...even on a conservative estimate that's a career earning total of £40m ffs. I have no trust or respect for footballers cos they seem so out of touch with reality. I am not poor by any stretch of the imagination but have to watch every penny in order to save up for a holiday and to go out to football or the pictures with the family. I love being a spurs fan but am seriously wondering if it worth spending £75-£105 to take me and my daughters watch a match when the players have no appreciation of what that money represents to us...the people who make football a great spectacle. I do not agree that it is human nature to be that greedy...if it were no "regular" person would give to charity, do volunteer work, be a nurse, librarian, teacher, carer or any of the other caring professions cos the pay is crap. There is no excusing or justifying this greed. It's the same as those rich people using tax avoidance schemes. We have moved back to the 1980s where greed was good. Sorry to rant but ... stories about player greed (at any club) are killing my love of the game. Off out for a walk and to find a cat to kick
Lee Dixon had a "never a truer word said in jest" moment during the Chelsky game commentary, when he joked how many Spurs players do you reckon Walker has called to tell them what his wages now are. Somebody in the game more or less agreeing with us on what the issue is with Rose et al.
Genuine question: why has Aurier leaped to the front of the right back queue ahead of Pereira or Cancelo? Pereira certainly seems to be the best fit based on his potential, lack of baggage, and how he would fit into the club's wage structure for the next 3-4 seasons, and add to that having him rotate with Trippier would be the best way to have him bed into the team while also injecting pace down the flank. This is before taking into account that Pereira would have cost us £22m to activate his release clause, which would have been £2m less that we're supposedly offering for Aurier - and while that £2m may sound like small beer that same £2m could either be invested into wages or (if we do sign Jadon Sancho) pay the inevitable tribunal fee. It does seem that Aurier runs the risk of being another Adebayor/Sissoko signing, who on paper could do a job for the team, but runs the risk of doing a fine job pissing the rest of the team off.
Rose should never have signed the contract if he felt that way the greedy c**t.put him in a room with graham Roberts and let him sort him out
