    It is funny.
More so because matty doesn't seem to generally post stuff for WUM value.

"And the other one is Pixie's pitifully tragic so-called WFU thread, which he completely ****ed-up with his OP (see the first entry in my signature)!"

I am determined to get a Nobel prize in medicine for identifying the condition I call HIAGnation.
So more power to his elbow I say.

So you're still into numbers but in a more thoughtful way.

One of the best threads I've seen in ages.

Subtly done, yet just completely rips them to shreds (along with the posts!). They really are an utter embarrassment of a club.

Meant to ask, is Matt really thecarrickfan on YouTube? Or is he playing on it? Been in stitches at some of the vids.

Yeah, that's really Matth, apparently. He's autistic, IIRC.
Pretty sure that he did something to prove it was him a while ago, though I can't remember what it was.

First search finds "Matthew (@carrick_fan) | Twitter" ,
so probably they are one and the same.

He is ok on the PL board IMHO (not a blatant WUM wannabee, not
offensive/rude in his remarks etc) , so nothing more to say.

The only thing that he does wrong is the occasional run of posting unnecessary articles.
    He gets carried away sometimes.
I'm not sure he could WUM if he wanted to, to be honest. Not in his nature.

I figured there may have been a bit of a personality disorder of some sort, just wasn't sure if Matt was genuinely the guy from the vids or playing on it.

The Sunderland relegation video is superb. He ****ing hates Moyes <laugh>. His dislike for Smalling and Jones is also brilliant, "I'm sorry, but they're just rubbish" <laugh>

One of the clickbait sports sites are reporting that Citeh are becoming exasperated with Daniel Levy because in response to Citeh quibbling at a price of £45m for Kyle Walker, Mr Levy has upped the price to £50m.

No idea if this is true but it sounds a lot more possible than "Kyle Walker Deal Done" as the Manchester Evening News was reporting a month ago. The suggestion is that this could go on for months - see boys, it's not difficult (unless you want one of our players.)

Next stop - Citeh agree £50m and the next day the price goes up again. Suggestions that United have given up on trying to get Eric Dier to put in a transfer request and are signing Matic instead. Fergie knows as does Mourinho. Levy's got all the time in the world to **** them over, he loves it.

    A couple of nibbles today.

First of all, and by far the most important, the Telegraph are reporting that we've opened contract talks with Toby.

Secondly, the latest in what is already becoming a long list of central midfielders to be linked is Fiorentina's Matias Vecino, whose style of play is remarkably similar to Dembele's and, as he's got dual Italian/Uruguayan citizenship, that would sidestep the usual work permit issues (at least for now, thank you very much Leave voters...) - although I can't help but think he's a backup plan if any move for Seri becomes a saga.

...oh, and there's two players we can probably rule out moves for River Plate pair Sebastian Driussi and Lucas Alario, as Driussi has failed a doping test and it's strongly rumoured that Alario will soon be suspended too.

Anyway, back to waiting for Steam's servers to not keel over every thirty seconds...

I find it hard to believe that we would be interested in either of them, but as you say , click bait draws in the mugs.

There's been a lot of talk this season about Meyer being an utter twat in the dressing room, and that doesn't sound like the sort of player Poch will have a lot of time for.

The possibility of purchasing Max Meyer from Schalke has resurfaced over the last few days. He has one year left on his contract and Schalke can't convince him to sign what they're offering. So, they're appropriately motivated to sell at a price fitting our budget.

Add in that they owe us a big bag of cash from the sale of Nabil Bentaleb and might be interested in Kevin Wimmer and the player himself wasn't adverse to being linked to us previously and it has a greater deal of being possible than Suso or some of the more ridiculous claims.

This one could have something to it.
