    There's been a lot of rumours of us trying to sign him, I'm all for it, The more world-class players in our team, the better, I'm sure he's a Manchester United fan, I know his Idol growing up was David Beckham, Hence why he wears the number 7 shirt at Atletico Madrid.

    You won't get him now - the exchange rate atm would push the fee higher and could reach what you paid for Pogba.

    The summer would be a strong possibility if you get into the Champions League - you have already freed up his favoured shirt number...

    Lot's of paper talk today, so the rumour is gathering momentum. I do remember him saying he would never leave while Simeone was still in charge and with him cutting short his contract (not to mention the massive cost of a new stadium to meet) it does look likely to happen. Whether he will come to us is quite another thing even though he is just what we need - a bit like Rooney as a youngster.

    Exactly, if the Chinese are barking enough to pay us £40m for Rooney it will make the actual £45m on Greizman look like a steal in today's market

    I can't see the AM president keeping his job for long if he sold their prized talent to their rivals, plus I can't see either Barca or RM stumping up the fee.
