Don't worry mate, by the time the Chelsea fans have finished with the figures it will be half a billion...
Herrera is already one of my all time favourite United players. Massively underrated and another one of those players who you can only fully appreciate if you watch him regularly. Would be gutted if we lost him but he's good enough to play for one of the Spanish giants. -- HERRERA TO REJECT BARCA Ander Herrera will rebuff any advances from Barcelona by committing his future to Manchester United, according to reports in The Times. The midfielder, 27, is currently contracted to the Red Devils until the summer of 2018.
He's one of those players that you love to have yourself but a right **** if you're playing against him, a bit like Sergio Busquets in that aspect. By far our best player this season and deserves a new contract, he also seems to love this club and this city. The guy is testament to the difference in class between Jose Mourinho and Louis Van Gaal.
I have long thought of him as a future captain. He is JM's 'go to' man on the field - he often calls him to the touchline to give out instructions to the rest of the players and he seems to have strong relationships with the majority of players. He must be a shoe-in for the armband next season, a key player in midfield, passionate about the club with a good eye for the game and intelligent too.
You only have to watch him celebrate a goal to know that he's a proper team man. He goes even more nuts when he scores!
He could be, it'll be between him, Carrick and Antonio. What he did for the 2nd goal against Ajax was incredible, very clever and he's done it before.
I like Valencia as a player - he has improved immensely this season and has worn the armband with pride a couple of times (I was pissed he had to take it off and give it to Rooney in the EL final) but I think a captain should be in midfield - it just seems more logical. Add to that the fact that Valencia can't speak English yet and , for me, Herrera becomes the logical choice.
Antoine Griezmann wants out... http://therepublikofmancunia.com/reports-from-spain-claim-griezmann-has-asked-to-leave-atletico/ Above is also being said in quite a few papers now
