Now then, 4th was the expectation when we setout this season.

That is seriously under threat. We need 2 wins from our last 6 games to seal the 4th spot.

Hope Conte takes care of the business and gets us to the promised 4th spot.

Great season by all means Conte.

if you look at my posts until week 27 or 28, I was always talking about 4th spot.
for the last 3 or 4 weeks fancied title because Jose, Pep fell behind.

Thanks to Conte's naivety & Cahill I am sent back in time to 4 weeks ago.

    Hardly surprise <doh>

Stan, I admire your consistency in posts but you are a bit hysterical at times. Yes you may have predicted 4th spot early in this season, but what if we hold our nerve and win the league?
You need to calm down a bit and step back. Conte is a winner. He has a team of winners and what winners do when things get tough is go on and win. A set back is bound to happen but it's what you do after that counts.

I would like to remind you to keep the blue flag flying high, my friend!

Absolutely United deserved their win but we didn't play great but the handball was hard to take but given that Luiz should have cleared the ball before it got to the United player. Also Luiz then Kante both had chances to put the ball out before it was deflected in past the keeper. All small margins but we didn't create enough.

decent result at Riverside. Goons beating Boro.
Keeps pressure on Jose & Spuds will have Goons on their mind if not rear view telescope.
Boro might well be relegated by the time they play us.

Good bothways - could be key match to get our 6 more points for finalizing our 4th spot.
Sunderland might also be relegated by the time we play them.

So our 4th spot is a banker. Need 6 more points and we could get it from those two matches against relegated* Boro & Sunderland.

who hopes for 4th spot when they are top of the league with 6 to play?!?!?

Least he hasn't started on the 'Conte out' stuff yet....yet.

Never seen anyone as passionate as Stan. I have my meltdown moments, but Stan gets the "most enthusiastic supporter" award from me. He takes lots of stick, but we need him on here with his unique take on things Chelsea.
He is someone who posts a lot and he encourages discussion, and rarely backs down from his opinions. That's great by me. I get his ideas on Mourhino, though I disagree , but Stan doesn't get the hump with people who disagree, he just tries to justify his ideas, which are amazingly consistent.
That said, I'm more optimistic than Stan , and subsequently, less stressed.
And he hasn't started on any "Conte out " stuff. Don't think he will. Stan thinks top 4 is where we should be and where we will be, but doesn't think we can win.I agree with the first 2 but not the last. We will win and we will achieve more than we ever imagined. Or we won't. That's life.
