6 Teams going for the title?

Speaking as a Liverpool fan, we're not going to be anywhere near the title. We're not even going to be top 4.

We finished 7th last year, and whereas Mane is a good player we didn't address our main problems in the transfer window: holding mid, left back, no decent striker. No one gets top 4 without a decent striker.

We will finish in about the same spot again this year. 7th or thereabouts.

Next year however, Next year is our year.

This thread is from the start of the season... Since we are 11 games in and it's still so close at the top between most of the six teams I thought it might be worth brining the question back up to see if anyone had changed there minds as there seemed to be quite a bit of writing teams off going on and bigger up other teams earlier on in the season.

Not entirely sure how you've come to the conclusion that this means I think the current table somehow equates to the end of season table... Been having a drink at lunchtime?

Whilst I wouldn't have put much money on it, at the start of the season I would have picked Utd if pushed to make a choice.

Now, however, it's clear to me that they're not good enough to go all the way.

Right now, if pushed, I'd say Chelsea. That's mainly because their defence looks a bit sounder than either L'pool or Arsenal.

 

You have clearly been desperate to bump this thread since you created it but if you pay attention and read my reply, I never suggested you thought the part highlighted in bold.

This thread is about teams going for the title, possibly 6 teams. We are in November, come back in January/February to see how many teams are actually going for the title.

 

If I'd been waiting to bump it I probably would of done it when Arsenal were higher than fourth place?

I made the thread before the season, the season is underway and it's still tight at the top so thought it was worth a bump, other posters have had input on whether they have changed there minds yet. And I'll probably bump the thread a few more times throughout the season to see how opinions are changing. If you don't like it.. You don't have to post
