A pervert who downloaded hundreds of indecent images including one of a baby being sexually abused has walked free from court. Another image found on James Mahoney’s computer showed a young child in forced sexual contact with a dog, Teesside Crown Court heard. “Police became aware of an email address linked to Mahoney being used to receive indecent images,” said Jenny Haigh, prosecuting. “They visited his address and seized computer equipment. “During the arrest Mahoney told police he had been ‘looking at stories’ on the internet. “In his formal interview, he said he had used search terms such as ‘daughter rape’ and ‘schoolgirl sex’ to find the images.” The court heard Mahoney collected 809 images classed as the most serious category A, 671 category B images, and 914 at the least serious category C. Dad-of-two Mahoney, 36, of Jutland Road, Hartlepool, admitted three charges on making indecent images of children between September and November of 2014. Mathew Crow, defending, said in mitigation: “Mr Mahoney accepts he has a sexual interest in girls in their teens. “The images came to him in a compressed file, so he did not know what they contained until he opened the file. “He deleted the ones of the younger children which did not interest him. “He now lives with his 81-year-old grandfather as his carer.” Judge Peter Armstrong sentenced Mahoney to 10 months in prison, suspended for two years, including a sexual offender treatment programme. The judge told him: “If I sent you to prison for what would be a short sentence, you would not get any help to address your distorted thinking. “There is greater benefit to the public that you do get treatment. “In suspending the sentence, I bear in mind your remorse, your early guilty plea, and I am aware you attempted suicide and there are concerns for your mental health.” Mahoney was made the subject of a 10-year order limiting his internet use and banning him from unsupervised contact with children. He must register as a sex offender for 10 years. The computer equipment seized from Mahoney’s house was confiscated and will be destroyed.

Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte has compared his war on drugs to the Holocaust - and says he is "happy to slaughter" millions of addicts.

"Hitler massacred three million Jews," he said. "Now there are three million drug addicts. I'd be happy to slaughter them."

Duterte told reporters that critics had portrayed him as "a cousin of Hitler".

"If Germany had Hitler, the Philippines would have..." he said, pausing to point to himself.

 

Pack him off to Mosul with a star of David tattood to his face.

 

But the court has already ser him free. That would infringe his civil rights.

 

Makes you wonder how long it will be before paedo's are accepted, 'it's their sexual preference'. Allah told them it was fine.

I am in danger of becoming Trump stalker in the US election. He is clueless, outrageous, dangerously immature but in danger of winning it in an "anti-establishment" wave among voters. I find the attitude of "let's give him a chance he can't do worse" absolutely mind-boggling.

I'm aware this viewpoint will be massively controversial, but I'm inclined to agree with the sentence. The man needs help, he clearly hates himself for what he is - hence the suicide attempt. He hasn't hurt anyone, just looked at images. He can't help what excites him, it's the way he is wired. If anything, I pity him.

Imagine this scenario:

Beer has been outlawed and is only made by kids in sweatshops in Africa, forced to work and live in terrible conditions. However, you are hopelessly addicted to it (may not be much of a stretch for some...), and have been for your entire life. There is a never-ending, free beer supply delivered directly to a fridge in the corner of your bedroom.

Could you resist it? Or would you indulge in the odd beer now and then, knowing it didn't harm anyone, and nobody would ever find out? If I'm being honest with myself, I believe I would give in.

That is, essentially, what this man is struggling through each and every day. Exept the pull is stronger than a simple addiction, and the consequences are, obviously, far graver than kids in sweatshops. I can't even imagine the horror of knowing something I enjoyed so much, which I had no choice in and could do nothing to prevent, was so ****ing barbaric. His life must be hell. Imagine the pure self-loathing he must live through.

Pity and help is what he needs, imo.

Whats strange is your allowed to have 15 sexually perverted images on ya PC but go to the sixteen pics and then you can be charged. What kind of stupid law is that?

PS. I would prefer if none of you asked how I know that.

 

Firstly it says he was 'making' child pornography.

Secondly, looking at pictures is harming children, it's fuelling demand, if there was no demand there would be no 'product'.
