Great idea, and would love it on that area outside the club shop, where all the tributes were... although personally would prefer something along the lines of this;

 

I think we might have to wait for a statue of Elton

I am hoping for a special event.. .and would get me down from north of Leeds for it....


Will be such a special symbol...................

 

We are very lucky to have the owners we have . They almost always do what the fans want and need. (or what they think is best for the club) like sacking managers

You've called that, H. I think we would all love a pre-season against both.

 

Not to mention against England. A four-way tournament - with the obvious proviso that our England internationals play for us...

 

I like it BB but maybe a 3 way tournament is a possibility. Although I expect we are getting too romantic. Although for sure I can see Lincoln liking it

But the statue would be great. In 100 years time it would still be there. Do we like that And the letter from his family so warming.

It may be that the match could be against a team where the manager or a coach at the club played under GT.
