Why is it always our best players get long term injuries? Our 2 record signings miss basically a full season each - just as Abel looks in his best form ever - and one of Bruce's best finds for us has no sign of coming back, Not that I'd wish it on them, but it's never ****ing a Diomande or a Marshall is it? On another note, hope it doesn't cost him the World Cup. Will probably be his last chance.
HERNANDEZ TO SEE CONSULTANT ABOUT ACHILLES INJURY Abel Hernandez will meet with a consultant this evening to determine the extent of the Achilles injury he suffered during Tuesday night's defeat against Wolverhampton Wanderers. A timeframe for his rehabilitation should be known in the next few days. https://umbracoadmin.hullcitytigers.com/news/articles/2017/201718-hernandez-injury-update/
Check out the web domain above, that looks remarkably like their admin access name to me, maybe they fancy getting hacked?
Gutted for Abel, and that is a big blow for us, just when him and Campbell were looking to make a good partnership.
Most players get 3 or 4 months out, that's fine, it's the full-season missers where we get hit hardest.
Originallambrettaman @origlambman At least we're looking to get something sorted quickly... Is that some sort of sick joke?! And not to forget, we put in an embarrassing offer for that guy weeks ago.
TurboGrosik @GrosickiKamil Bro, stay strong and get back soon to the field. We are all very sad because of yiur injury. We are all with you. #AbelHernández
Thought he was putting it on according to Mr Hatem? Another tough blow. Ironically Burnsy was discussing whether he would be exposed to the risks of injury with trams reportedly after him.
Joe Dudgeon , altho not at the start of the season , he was fast becoming an important player - i remember him being Dawsons replacement under Barmby was it ?
It was Pearson who made him first choice left back and Barmby stuck with him, that 2011-12 season was the only full season we got out of him.
He was first choice under Bruce too until he got crocked. He's retired now and coaching, shame as he could have gone on to be a good player.
