    I had a spat with @Saintsfan08 and repeated something I had been told in that he was banned from the Liverpool board after inappropriate content regarding Hillsborough.

    He denied this and since I cannot produce the quote I should not have posted what I did.

    Fair play. I think I may know what that mod was on about though. On the 'bbc Salford' thread where the pool fans moan that each and every corner of the world conspires against them I left a comment along the lines of "you boys don't half like to play the victim". I had no idea that referring to pool fans was actually deeply offensive and widely used a taunt regarding the heysel disaster. I was alerted to this by a pool board poster and I immediately apologised for any offense I had caused and that I had no idea that the word "victim" had been used to taunt pool fans over heysel. My apologies were accepted by all pool fans posting at the time and received as genuine.

    The mod you were in contact with luv obviously didn't intentionally lead you astray, but seeing as it was nearly 3 years ago now I can understand how the details have become blurred
