I remember it well - due to cymbals, tambourines, glockenthingies and other such bollocks, music lessons were generally ****e, however - the day it was released our ''hipster'' music teacher went out at lunch and bought the album ...... we spent the full hour listening to it instead of abusing assorted percussion instruments.
If the ball hadn't crossed the line I think the goalkeeper committed an infringement by releasing the ball and then picking it up. An indirect free kick almost on the goal line would have then been the result.
Don't know where Stan's got that from, Sgt. Pepper's was released on 1st June 1967. The recording of the album didn't finish until April.
Some decent, well paid jobs at Aldi for bright people willing to put the work in. Which rules out a lot of our school leavers of course.
