Statistically Comm, it's 9 points cos instead of +6 points from NE Derbies, you are currently on -3 so a 9 point swing right now. If the mutants do you in smogland it will be a 12 point swing.
When the effects of the drugs wear off you will realise have Sunderland lost their first two games, good job they are not looking for promotion !!!!!!!!!!!!
Honestly would love to have a north east derby, a proper Tyne Wear, none of that smoggy rubbish and for it to take place in the PL. Hopefully we can do our part and get promoted, just cos we've had a couple of wins everyone seems to be a bit more positive, but we really need to pick up a good 16 points plus out of our next 7 league games which is a really tough run, Brighton, Villa, Norwich, Derby, Wolves, QPR, and Derby all have promotion aspirations. Lets do our job and get in the prem and if the mackems cant do their part, we will be able to enjoy the summer just like they just have. Wouldnt it be great though if we could get back to how Derbies used to be, Smashing them game after game going years undefeated, I'd love to have that back!
Yes you're not looking for promotion, but according to your manager you're looking at relegation. Looks like it's a nervous time, the 12 exclamation marks only emphasise your panic and distress. Looking forward to the Toon Boro derby in the Prem, won't miss the Mackem derby though.
What would you give for the chances of a team looking to be promoted loosing their first two games and managed by a man serving his apprenticeship in the given situation, and a very good chance there are only two spots up for grabs on last season performances
Let ya off this time. This should cheer you up. http://www.dailystar.co.uk/news/lat...eekend-british-sunderland-football-black-cats Best i post it before one of you lot do.
What? I'm baffled here, kindly translate. Are you talking about Benitez? If so the losing the first 2 games conveniently ignores the fact we won the next 2, and also ignores the fact it is a completely new team which needed some bedding in time, ie the first 2 games. And he's not serving an apprenticeship, he's handled relegation before. What do you mean 2 spots up for grabs? 3 teams go up! And as for what chances...well pretty good actually, seeing as we've always been favourites for champions with the bookies even after we lost the first 2 games.
