  1. I was a goer but will not now attend until the Allam's have gone.

  2. It's my club, they won't ever stop me attending.

  3. I was a goer but boycotted until I moved too early and rebought a goer ticket again when the Chinese

  4. still go because they have no problem with The Allams , like that Fergus clown on Twitter

We had disappointing crowds in both of our 2 promotion seasons to the Premier league.

    37,000 in Div 3 North.

Seasons in the PL when you get to Cup Finals and play in Europe should see bigger crowds than at levels 2, 3 or 4. They were disappointing in comparison last season to previous ones. That was purely down to the Allams and their actions, especially no concessions.

Which other clubs couldn't sell tickets for FA Cup semi-finals and play off finals? Don't think there was an answer to that.

How far back do we go to compare crowds relative to success? 5, 10, 15 years? Not as far. Further.

Unless It has passed you by coaches full of inadequates from Hull wearing red were leaving every Saturday back in the early 1970s. The local buses were full of people wearing red going home to OPE, Longhill etc after playing Man U in the Watney Cup and in Div 2. Loads of that most verminous group Hull ****es were in attendance when Leeds played Tottenham. You will no doubt be unaware of these things as you will be too young. It isn't a new phenomenon. City even appointed someone as a Fans Liaison Officer, out of the many they could have chosen, who used to organise coaches to support Manchester United.
You are just making excuses for our drop in support. The crowds for the 3 divisions of the Football League last season were the highest since 1959. So is Hull the only place affected by all these new TV Channels compared to the days there were only 3?
It doesn't help that people in Hull tend to be rather fickle in their support, and have been for a long time, or that apathy is characteristic of many in Hull but the Allams are a factor. Little Norwich still sell out their slightly larger stadium, Derby got over 29,000 every week last season , Sheff Utd got more than us in Division 3.

So it was nothing to do with the fact there are more than 3 channels? Something you condescendingly suggested might have escaped my notice.

You're right. Tickles died. That's not the Allams fault.

I don't think it is anyway.

Which period in the 70s was that? Although gates fell at City through the decade they weren't embarrassing till the last year or two, after going out of Division 2. And that was just when the rugby attendances started picking up again.

I don't think Hull Vikings were getting 6 or 7 thousand - as City were in the late 70s - and even if they were Castro allows that we can add all of the Rovers and Hull FC attendances to what City got.
