http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/39628280 Can I say....I so want birmingham to go down... 1 For getting rid of Rowett 2 Just because Arry is their manager 3 (and so it is not us)
Crikey!! I really thought it was a windup but you generally don't do that. From Rowett to Redknapp via Zola. Def the new bonkers owners in the division!!!
Here's what Blues said about appointing the 70-year-old as their new boss: "The club is delighted to announce that Harry Redknapp is Blues new manager. "The vastly experienced Redknapp has agreed to replace Gianfranco Zola, who resigned on Monday. "Redknapp has enjoyed notable success as a manager at AFC Bournemouth, West Ham United, Portsmouth, Tottenham Hotspur and QPR. "Amongst his many achievements, he successfully guided Portsmouth and QPR to promotions to the Premier League and also secured an FA Cup victory with Portsmouth. "He won a Premier League Manager of the Year award with Tottenham Hotspur and also qualified them for the Champions League. "We believe that under the leadership of Redknapp, Blues will enhance their strength and create achievement."
Harry is jammy enough to pull it off. He's brought in Steve Cotterill as his assistant. Villa for their first match...
They're three points ahead of the relegation zone with three hard fixtures. He'll keep them up by a point and be hailed as a genius. Villa have fallen apart just at the right moment with Kodija suspended for their game.
New summer signings of Nico Kranjcar and Tal Ben Haim for the Brummie fans to look forward to no doubt.
Tired of signing autographs for a tenner. He's been looking for a job for a while, probably getting well paid considering the desperate position B'hams owners have put the club in.
Good luck Birmingham - they're in for a bumpy ride. Deluded owners who think they can get instance success just by familiar names......sound familiar?
Lovely jubbly. He'll review his position at the end of the season. If they stay up. The insolvency practitioners will be circling St Andrews whether they stay up or not. Harry will get another windfall he knows nothing about and his crew of hangers on and former players another glorious pay day. At least Sandro has a way back into English football now at the expense of Birmingham's fans and Gary O'Neil can add anther notch to his belt.
He's probably negotiated a large wad which he'll receive irrespective of whether they stay up. Fully expect to see the same old names and some 'big-money' mercenaries buzzing like flies around ****. Redknapp... pulling the pants down of non-football owners for years. Hopefully this will put the final nail in what's left of his 'reputation'.
