I remain to be convinced by the majority of our new acquisitions. We were far too careless today. Niasse - Put in a shift and looked the most likely. Huddlestone - Solid but lacked his usual creatively. Markovic - Looked a handful at times but concedes position in dangerous situations all too often. Maybe I'm in the minority but I think that we got what we deserved today. Complacent, strangely unfocused and error prone.
The first half was erratic, the second half fine. Arsenal could only score with a handball though despite the opportunities we gave them in the first half, so I'm not sure they deserved to win.
Yes I hate to grumble as we're obviously making strides in the right direction but right back looks a problem position for us Maybe we should have kept Rosenior and offloaded Alex Bruce....

Again, agreed. I was on the matchday thread at the time and people were praising him left, right and centre and I wondered what they were seeing that I wasn't? One glaring example was the pass to him from Tom that most slated as a bad pass when in reality it was perfect and Andrea backing off from it caused the issue from which they easily could've scored. I'm not saying he was ****e, but 6 out of 10 at best.
