Just listening to 5 live, Fletch said - Arsenal V Hull City, Ian what do you think, that was the only mention of City in the next 30 minutes. ****ing amazing
Arsenal fans all wear vintage scarves or shirts, all watch Match of the Day, spend hours talking 'footie' tactics and reading messageboards and have a deluded sense of entitlement. Those under 30 all have a stupid Giroud haircut. Individually they may seem quite reasonable, but stick more than 2 of them together and they become an insufferable bunch of know it all twats. Fair to say, I wouldn't mind a win in this one
This is the most confident I've felt about a City side since we looked like we were going to rule the footballing world in 2008. I think we'll shock everyone again and get at least a draw.
I'm sorry to say this but plenty of Arsenal supporters will be wearing the shirt and scarf that they bought on the way into the stadium. The only worry for them is deciding if they still have time to go to London Eye or not.
I'm sure they must have a few decent fans , I've never met or seen any of them though A typical example is piers morgan
My mate is a veteran fan, home and away, season ticket holder. Proper football supporter, he hates what Arsenal has turned into.
Are we getting a bit carried away here? Yes we have picked up some great results recently and MS has got us playing very well.. But to beat Arsenal at home is a massive ask. They've just come off the back of 2 bad defeats, its a must win for them tomorrow and they'll be going for it. I think we'll lose tomorrow, it wont be by many but I do think we'll get beat. It'll be good to get the game out of the way really, Chelsea, Man-u, Liverpool & Arsenal in a row was ridiculous and we've come through that with at least 4 points which is great. The main thing for me tomorrow is playing well and keeping the momentum and belief going. Also without being negative, its very "us" to play well against the big teams and not turn up against teams of similar quality. Thats where we've really let ourselves down in recent years. I just hope now with our new manager and playing style we'll blow a few average teams away. Thats whats going to keep us up this year, not shock results against Liverpool and Arsenal.. but hard fought results against teams in-and-around us.
I could have gone with him tomorrow but I was late trying for a ticket. Ardent and passionate gooner.
