Totally agree, he pissed me off too. The guy shows no humility at all. I wouldn't mind if he did then it would make him likable. But the way he treats the fans with contempt when they disagree with him is proper sh1tty.

Can't help but thing we would have done well with an Ibrahimovic type player this season. Someone who has been there done that, and has the experience/leadership. I know at 34 (35?) he is well past his best, but I just think he would have been a real character on that pitch for us.

They could've replaced him with the 5'6" Kante though, to be fair. Wenger was going to...

Height makes a difference in terms of how good you are going to be in the air, but height doesn't = fight.
Look at Dennis Wise ffs, guy was like 5'6 and he was as scrappy as they came and was a great captain for us, a leader.

And as someone else pointed out, Kante is a great little battler, and he is a similar height.
You want a couple of tall guys in your team, usually in the CB and GK roles, but height doesn't necessarily mean anything in terms of your attitude,
Giroud is 6'2 and is as soft as a wet babies arse.

As you've pointed out, it's about getting the right blend of people that makes the team balanced. This is something that Wenger hasn't done with his latest incarnations. No matter which player he brings in, he seems to get the same output.

    Yeah for sure.

I would love Wenger to go in after Kondogbia again. There guy hasn't lived up to his potential yet and could be a great match for our squad.
