Definitely, could do with a bit more experience in the ranks. Campbell doesn't look fit enough to last the full 90 +.

If we start getting injured players back, one left back addition will do as Clark was ok once he'd settled. Bowen looks a good prospect. Another winger and a proven forward I'll be happy.

If Larsson is signing as rumoured- that's some more experience in the side.

Musa on loan would be good.

A Villa supporting mate of mine told me two months ago, Bruce has no chance in that job. He'd have to win every game.

He's still a blue nose to many Villa fans.

I question how fit Bruce gets his teams? We always used to fade late on in games under Bruce and Villa seemed to have similar issues yesterday.

Add in to the mix also John Terry, waiting in the wings, pole position ready to manoeuvre himself into player manager. As good a defender he is/has been, good experience, must be a tad uncomfortable for Bruce looking over his shoulder, I wouldn't trust Terry as far as I could throw him.

Hope so, whilst i personally saw enough in Clark's display to feel assured with him playing as a back up this year, we need a genuine 1st team lb and I hope zeegelaar is that dude

Terry hasn't got a brain to be a football manager - he's thick

Don't know if he's thick, although I suspect you're right, but he's definitely a detestable ****er!

Reads more like he's trying to assure fans that he cares about the game too and is in touch with their frustrations.

Surprised he didn't use a picture of himself on the floor, or using his hand to control the ball.

I had a look at villa forum yesterday, they genuinely think Elmo is quality and an excellent crosser of the ball <laugh>

Amazing how the media can influence people so easily.

As I have said before, someone like Pattie only appears once in a lifetime. What a shame it had to be ours.

It was interesting listening to Brucey's remarks after the game. Saying Villa created a lot of chances, but like last season they didn't take them. The same problems we had when he was with us, making a lot of chances but not scoring enough goals. A similar pattern emerging with his style it appears.
