Hot on the heals of my non-loss thread victory and my winning thread victory, I welcome you all to ANOTHER super duper, ultra positive thread for the journey of the Scintillating, Sensational, Stunning, Stupendous, Super Saints!!! (SSSSSS) of 142 miles from St Mary’s (or 113 miles if you fly) to the home of the Villans, otherwise known as Aston Villa…

As usual, any negativity will be ridiculed and happy clapping is actively encouraged. Let’s face it I may as get the City thread ready now as well :)

The SSSSSS are again on the road after the most one sided 1-1 draw we have EVER seen. How they sneaked a goal and we failed to score than once will remain a mystery to us all.

SSSSSS go into the game as clear, clear, clear, clear favourites – This is one fixture to bet your house on. There is, as always with us, no reason to see anything other than a huge win. We STILL sit 7th (**see notes) in the table, we are STILL on a roll; we are a mighty THIRTY-ONE points (yep that is 31 points, almost safety on its own) above the Villa and still knocking on the door of Europe, despite last weeks draw. We have to go back to the 6th of Feb and NINE premier league games to when Villa last got any points. Can’t see it being anything other than TEN games this time Saturday evening :) They have scored just 3 goals in the last NINE games. One more goal for us and we have scored double their tally….

Form coming in to this one:

    SSSSSS:
Stoke v SSSSSS 1-2 – Mighty win against a good Stoke side, Pelle back to his best!

SSSSSS v Liverpool – 3-2 Gave them a chance, but they were blown away by the brilliance of Pelle, Mane and Wanyama. We even missed a pen on purpose so not to embarrass them.

Leicester v SSSSSS – Aside from SSSSSS we want them to win the league. This was our present to Ranieri & co. Great performance, 2 clear/debatable (delete as you see fit – but PLEASE we have argued it to death!) penalty claims.

SSSSSS v Newcastle – 3-1. Could/Should have been more. Stroll in the park and no danger of anything else. Great to see Jay Rod back :)

Everton v SSSSSS – 1-1. How was that not a victory? They were on the rack all game and offered little.

    Villa
Swansea v Villa – 1-0. We beat them away

Villa v Chelsea – 0-4. They fluked a win at our place, 0-4 is no fluke, Villa are bad.

Villa v Bournemouth – 1-2. We beat Bompey at home, gave them the points away to keep them safe.

Man Utd v Villa – 1-0. Nuff said. We always win at Old Trafford.

    Matchday officials:
Ref: Mike Jones (only reffed us away from home this year, both times 1-0 wins to us…Sunderland and Man Utd)
    Lineperson 1: A Garratt
    Lineperson 2: M Wilkes
4th Official: K Friend (hope he doesn’t need to go to hospital again J )

Fonte & Wanyama are good to go, though Fonte probably still thinks we have yet to play Everton as he lost his memory.

I normally predict 3-1 to us in all games. NO WAY. This has 6-0 all over it. Pelle hattrick, J-ROD 2, Mane 1. Tadic to miss a penalty (let's face it, he's no Lambert from the spot), Long not to get at least three, us to argue about them for another week at least and Tom to support the ref :)

    My lineup:
    Forster
    Martina
    Fonte
    van Dijk
    Bertrand
    Wanyama
    Clasie
    Tadic
    Long
    Mané
    Pellè

Same as before…why change a non-losing team! Jay Rod and Davis to feature at sometime.

    COYR!!!!!

AS usual listen to this to keep your spirits up!

AND, as this is the Super Trouper Douper thread:

(**We are now eighth because of Liverhampton)

Haven't really forgiven them for the 2-3 defeat in 2005. Some guy called Steve scored I think.

Obviously with all the pressure off the Villa players will all play like Messi and score 6 goals - also with all the pressure off they'll be leaving spaces all over the pitch and we'll score 12. (6-12 Saints)

0-4, I'm not going to predict Graziano scoring because he never does when I do so... Mane, Tadic, and 2 for Long

I can't help but think we're going to end this season having failed to beat one of the worst PL teams ever.

It's either that or score in the first 10 mins, and go and win it 6-0.

Just rewatched it. Don't think we'll see Agbonlahor scoring that goal again.

Love to see J-rod get on the score sheet, even the villa fans wouldn't begrudge him that, would they!

If we don't win by 4 or more Koeman has to go.

If Pelle, Mane, Long & Jay Rod don't score more than 4 each, Ron has to go
