Automatic starters.

If the whole squad was fit (aye i know), is there only Defoe that would/should be an automatic starter?


Is it really that bolloxed.

 

Add Kone, Kirchoff and Pva aswell. Only cause we have nobody else to play Lb though

 

I did think PVA. But tried to block it out mentally that we only have one lb.

 

PVA, Catts, Kirchoff and Defoe.
At the moment I am tempted to say O'Shea as I want someone steady at the back to marshall the defence. Yes, its that bad.

 

As Catts 2nd biggest fan i want to agree, but cant. Marcus will be along soon to teach me the error of my ways.

Hoff isn't an automatic starter for me, not after the last game. Defoe and PVA, because we've got nobody else.

Imo we stick with the back seven who started against Palace, simply because we have no alternatives who look any better, only JoS, Rodders and McNair are of similar standard to be even be considered, in midfield N'Dong is a must, up front we have Defoe and thats about it. Who gets the remaining two places depends on Moyes objectives and what formation he decides to play. None of those left out, bar the injured Vito, fill me with any hope at all that they are willing or able to produce the sort of performances required to get us away from the bottom three.

 

Agree with bri Kirchhoff has been poor in the games he's played this season hopefully it's just him getting back up to speed fitness wise!!

 

How long can we trot this excuse out?

 

I know just clutching really cause we all seen how good he can be. Everyone has a slump in form tho.

 

No denying he is a class act. But for a professional player that cant last 90 mins is kinda disturbing.

 

Very strange **** knows what's going on in training tho can't remember us having this many injuries in years..

 

But is it training. Kichoff seems unable to last 90 mins full stop.

He is superb, but faulters and blows out of his arse after time.

 

He's done a few 90 mins like granted not to many haha

 

And blowing like **** at the end.

I dont get it. It maybe more than fitness?

 

Nah idea mate hope it's sorted soon tho we need all the fit players we've got, and that's not many to be playing blinders every wk.

 

Hoff is a crock. That's why he was so cheep. He'll need to be managed like Ledley King throughout his career and I wouldn't expect much more than 15 to 20 starts per season.
