.........15 milllion quid fella. Where the fuk are you? Taking the jimmy? From an olde fella and from the heart of a true Jack [email protected] do one. Bye.
It is not his fault he is not picked is it.......He should play every game when Llorentte is not playing........
Perhaps he will be the one to come to our rescue and get the goals that save us ...... Perhaps not.......
Must be the biggest transfer disaster after Gomis, to ever haunt the club, £15 Million for a spare part!...................
"It is not his fault he is not picked is it" This statement shows a fundamental misunderstanding of how clubs are run. Barring injury, if a squad player has ability and shows willing in training he should play ahead of an under 23.
Remember when Bony played his first few games for us ? Fans were saying what a waste of money he was, The same thing with Llorentte, He was deemed useless.....Baston should have played. He has not had a chance like Bony or Llorentte did to find his form...
The American fell into the trap of trying to please the untrusting fans by " Showing Them the Money " before taking a close look at what they were buying . Buying Baston and sacking Guidolin and hiring Bradley = a one way ticket to the relegation battle . Whether we survive it will depend more on a few other teams than on us .
That is a bit of a wild statement there roof.....Why say the yanks bought Baston ? We have scouts who recommend we take a look at a player and we would not spend £15m if we never checked him out first,.........We should have played him more especially if he is on the bench and ready. To put a non striker on when Llorentte went off when we had a £15m striker selected for the bench is ludicrous.......
Wrong...you have a short and selective memory Valley because you were one of the first (as usual) to criticize any player. And you rubbished bony.
think you guys are harsh with baston. sure he's been a big pile of **** in most games, but players settling from overseas normally need to settle, plus he was playing under bob bradley so all confidence gone there. As for people looking good in training i don't believe in all that. Managers generally have their favourites and the people they trust. Borja just isn't trusted.
Why, Newport? Because he looks shifty? Training is an important part of the selection process. I completely agree that he hasn't been given much of an opportunity and I'm sad about that actually - my guess is that he'll go elsewhere and do well - but he's not being picked for a reason.
Who's newport? Of course training is part but there are a notorious number of "bad trainers" who still get picked. Training shouldn't be the end and be all of selection. Koeman apparantly saw Niasse for a few sessions and decided he is **** because technically he isn't that great. He's been ripping it up for hull though Anyway i don't think it's to do with his bad training. That's just conjecture. I just believe the manager doesn't believe in him having seen how horrendous he has been in the few appearances he has made.
