Leicester will beat Sevilla. I think they will make it to the quatres or even semi finals. Basically until they face - Real Madrid, Barcelona or Bayern.
If that does happen then i do hope they play with all guns blazing. It would be interesting to see a team play the three best with no fear.
I should add, I think we are going to beat them this time. They are not as strong as previous seasons, and we have improved. I think this is our best chance to beat them in years (I know we have beat them in single games, but in the across the two legs)
Bayern are about to kick off against Leipzig on BT Sport, if any of you want a preview. It's first against second in the Bundesliga and they're both on 36 points. Could be interesting.
Leipzig were bloody awful, unfortunately. I learned absolutely nothing about them by watching that game. Conceded twice early, then got a straight red, gave away a penalty and it was 3-0 and over by half-time.
Firstly, I think it's a good draw for you as you will not be favourites. Secondly, they do not seem to be as strong as previously whereas you are stronger. I think these 2 things will lead to you beating them over 2 legs. Think that the only 2 teams you can't beat over 2 legs are Barcelona and Real Madrid and if you avoid them you'll do well.
I think we've got the best chance of beating Bayern than we've had before. We've actually beaten them in Munich, but got tonked at home. For the reasons you have outlined, I think this gives us a decent chance. We've had a blip this week, but I think that's all it is, a blip. Some of our early season form has been brilliant, so hopefully a win against West Brom and some good results over Xmas will set us up nicely to go into this tie. Overall though, if we want to win it, then we are going to have to play Real and Barca at some point.
We came really close to beating Barca in 2006 in the final. And of course we beat them at home 2-1 in 2011. If we can get to the final, then potentially we can beat anybody if we're on our game. I know as a Spurs fan you don't really want to see it happen, but for Wenger, it would be the jewel in his crown at Arsenal to win the Champions league.
A fullpower and antmeta style atletico is the most fearful for us,seeing we are in hypothetic ground we can hold and counter Barca as well but not Real who are moulded to perfection by Zizou for big games. But we will probably end up doing nothing as usual,we wont turn up for a game lose it by 2 goals, fight like hell and out play an on form bayern in the second leg to be knocked out by a goal/away goals/penalties.
