Burnham, I think I'll be getting the first rounds in when you come up. Poor couple of days on the horses.

Wow!!! What a day!! Cheers mate and you too Gil @Gil T Azell Really appreciated it!!

Appreciated the tips. Did a few of them.

After the fifth race I was £50 up on the day.

Had 2 winners and 2 e/w in 4 out of 5 races but the other bets me and my wife were putting on, we were just £50 up after them.

Went a bit silly on the last race, a big field, all the bets cost £100 so I went £50 down.

I made a mistake on one of my last bets. Put £20 to win on Cyrgirli or some daft name like that at 40/1 instead of £20 e/w. The bugger lost by a small distance, came second. Would've won £800 if he'd won!!

So I was well pissed off with that!! Bit of a downer on the last race.

About 10 minutes later I remembered I'd put a lucky 15 on earlier in the day. I'd forgotten all about it.

I'd also made a mistake on my lucky15 betting slip. I'd gone for Dartmouth but put the wrong race time on. I just assumed Betfred would tell me to **** off on that one.

So I walked down thinking I'd get about 20-30 quid back on the other 2 I had placed in my lucky15.

    £461:65!!!!!

    What a result!!!!

Just to add, some lass started hitting on me, in front of my son. Bloody hilarious!! His girlfriend got the right arse with him and he was like, she's hitting on my dad not me!!!!

    Still got it!! <laugh><laugh>

Sounds like a great day..... Stud :emoticon-0115-inlov

I'd probably still be reasonably satisfied coming out of a meeting just 50 quid down! Fantastic when you walk away with profit, though.

Do you have the confidence to go night clubbing, now? ;)

Clubbing? No problem, unless there's an age bar at the door <laugh>

I think those days are gone mate. I'd need to shave 30-35 years to go clubbing.

Anyway, if Dustin Johnson can win the US Open today that'll be a great end to a great weekend! Got £10 on at 14/1and he's up there in the mix.

    Haway Dustin! <laugh>

Came in at 14/1. A nice surprise to wake up to another £140 adding to the weekend pot.

I'm 2for2 on the Majors this year and on for the Grand Slam.

I've been talking to Tiger and Arnie, about how they dealt with the pressure of going for the Grand Slam but they weren't much help.:emoticon-0136-giggl

Nice one. I'll start to take tips from you on the Golf, then. It's my achilles heel when it comes to sport.

Sunderland are currently 4/1 to be relegated and 7/2 for a top half finish <ok>

That's pretty narrow odds for a 7+ league position spread.

    The Open 2016

I just can't decide on a straight win at the minute. I'll probably wait until the last second at the bookies tonight.

But E/W I'm going to put £5 on Zack Johnson, about @ 70/1 and Shane Lowry, around 90/1 at the minute.
