Berahino to go on strike!

?

What should Spurs pay for Berahino in the January window?

  1. Spurs should pay what WBA are demanding!

  1. With his dream move to Spurs in tatters, one of Europe's top attacking talents has promised to go on strike, rather than to continue the farce of playing for the Baggies.

The question is should Spurs make the same offer for him in January, or ought we to be offering far less?

Lads, I want you to decide.

    And, remember, no wumming, please!

We'll see what he does, but if he follows through with his threat would you want him? he'd be a good season away from doing the same to you for CL football, looking more malignant than Ade.

  4. Yeah, I'd take the mercenary.

He'd give us a season and a half of top football, then we'd off-load him to the Chavs or United for £60m.

    Sorted!

Yeah, agreed. He needs to grow up. He isn't doing himself any favours.

If he chucks all his toys at WBA, he'd do it again elsewhere.

I think Spurs should avoid him like the plague as he is just a younger version of Adebeawhore and when he has had enough of Spurs he will go on strike to force his way out.
i see Adebeawhore wanted £5m to leave Spurs to go to West Ham FFS !
A lucky escape for the Hammers but means you are stuck with the c#nt

I just knew we'd never get shot of the ****er...only slightly possible plus for us is that he's going to need a new employer from next summer, so if given a chance, maybe he'll put on a show...

  14. Is there any possibility that Ade is simply misunderstood?

Oh no, I think everybody understands him now. That's going to be his problem.

My wifes side are all WBA so I have the point of view of a big WBA fan, the way he sees it is that Spurs should have come in a lot earlier for him so that they could find a replacement, JP was right to dig his heels in and say not for sale. He is under contract after all. Talent wise he agrees with me that he's a good player but nothing special and if they do get £25-£30M for him it's happy days.

No winners though, mate, are there? We still don't have another striker. WBA have a very unsettled player, and Berahino is totally pissed off.

Personally, I've never seen the point of trying to hang on to a player who doesn't want to play for you. Once the bond is broken, all you can do is try to get the max for him. Even if Berahino plays for WBA again, he's not going to give 100%.

My Father in Law seems to think he'll go in Jan and that they'll accept a lower fee even as long as they can get a replacement.
