The dust has only just settled on our play off final defeat and I am already thinking about how dull the next couple of months will be.
I am struggling to read a lot of the comment about Sunday's game as it still feels quite raw and the thought of losing those loan players (Saunders, Yennaris, Fred and especially Mawson) concerns me a little as they were so prominent in the latter part of the season.
I see KDS and CJS are trying to boost my mood with there little fisticuffs, but even that is growing tiresome.
So, realistically we should see a good few come in to the clu this summer. We have released 4 and 4 have gone back to their parent clubs. Hogan and Craigs future is still undecided and Murphy could potentially head back up north. Worst case is that we have 11 new faces to find and mould in to a team ( i have no doubts Ainsworth can do that effectively.
Maybe with such a lot of activity expected the summer wont be so long and the anticipation will build.
The fixture list being released is also something to relish. The trip to Wembley and the meet up with a lot of old faces (old being you predomently Rocky) has wetted my appetite for a few away days with the lads.
Keep posting people, or it could be a long summer ahead!

Maybe we should promote some more bouts on our forum to keep the interest. We could allocate points for witty replies, tactfulness etc., deduct points for bitching, enforce a disqualification for abuse and, when we've had enough, declare a winner on points/tko etc. We could even open a book and make bets.

    Some strange odds on L2.

To finish in top 7. Wycombe are 15/8 with 11 teams at shorter odds.
To finish in top 3. Wycombe are 6/1 with only 6 teams at shorter odds.

I get used to it Ron we have been to loads of games together over the past few years. We have had some cracking days out at away games too many to mention. The main ingredients to having a good day out is the company you are with on the day and with slasher and Co we are always guaranteed a laugh

Christ it's like an incestuous viper pit on your board Wycombe. Get a bleddy room some of you.

Do I get any points for the above Ron?

I hate this time of year as well. Desperately roaming the boards every night looking for something interesting to read. Saturdays desperately looking for something interesting to do. Her indoors trying desperately to get me to arm myself with a paint brush or lawn mower. Me desperately trying to avoid it. Desperate times ahead I think.

Bloody cricket tennis rugby and the like are no substitute for football. The one bit of good news is Sepp bladder finally going and about time too.

Obviously needs some time to cover his tracks though. I wonder if FBI are tapping in to all his phone calls.
