On and off, I've been playing for pennies on probably 5 sites for a decade. I don't think I used Cyc though. I've been on PartyPoker for what seems forever. Ron is right, I dropped the 111. As for the fight, I don't think it was rigged. I can't see why Bob Arum (who has both fighters) would wanting to destroy his cash cow. Manny is where the money is, not Horn. I honestly thought Horn had won, but I'm not the best judge in the world.
I've been known to play. Mainly on Pokerstars. I just realised the guy I was thinking of was named Peanut111 and now I recall you also had the 111 on your username here once Ron said it, I was getting the two mixed up.
My biggest bets are $1 tournies. But heaps of my time is spent playing 6 seated Badugi for play money. Nice folks. I'm in a game at the moment.
Big fight in Scotland this weekend, a couple of UK local Super Lightweights put it on the line for the Commonwealth and WBC Silver Title. The Commonwealth champ Josh Taylor risks his belt while Ohara Davies sticks his WBC Silver strap. Betting has Taylor at 8-11 and Davies at 11-8. For me Taylor looks a bit too classy, but the face off below has a bit of the "in your face" we saw from Kell Brook and his team before the Spence fight. It scares me a bit. Anyone smell a bit of fear or is it just my imagination? Still, my cash would be on him.
Don't know anything about him Cyc. Just reminded me that I mentioned a Josh somebody in April so I found the post and now I've seen the fights
Josh Taylor was a junior taekwando champion. Boxing: Won the gold medal at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in the light welterweight division. Turned professional June 2015. 9 professional fights and 9 wins (8 inside the distance)
I've done quite a bit of reading in the last hour or so on the fight. As I said, I sort of lean towards Taylor, but heaps of boxing folk who've been interviewed say Davies will ko Taylor, they seem to thing Taylor won't be able to stay from Davies power. 29-10 a Davies ko.
Good fight this one, be very surprised and disappointed if Josh Taylor isn't too good for Davies. Davies carries power and a big gob but he's a level or two below Taylor from what I've seen of him. Taylor is a much more accomplished boxer and fights like an old hand, despite the fact he's really inexperienced in the pro ranks. I think he'll make Davies look a bit silly, but it's boxing and we can all be wrong at times! Daniel Dubois fights tomorrow night too, few decent bouts on around the place.
I agree mate Taylor could end up being pretty special, i really like him and think his class will shine through
