Hiya lads, apologies if this has been posted here already, but I've just seen this link on Facebook and thought a lot of fellow Safc fans (and fans of other teams) on here would be interested in helping contribute to a young lad's fight against neuroblastoma, a rare form of cancer. £700,000 more is needed to pay for specialist treatment for Bradley in the USA. Given how success of fundraising campaign was for the two Newcastle supporters who died in the MH17 disaster, I thought this cause might be worth a share on here as well. You can pay by credit or debit card via the link below, or by texting BRAD02 £1 (or any amount you can spare) to 70070. http://bradleylowerysfight.org.uk/ Thanks for reading fellas.
I'm sure most of you will have seen this on FB but just thought I would share. This young Sunderland fan needs all the help he can get. I believe Kone and Borini have donated today which is great.
I just posted the same thing I didn't realize it was already up on here. I donated today I hope the lads gets the treatment he needs.
Merged them @safc1978 I'm going to stick this thread for a little while. This is, IMO, the type of thing that should be at the top all the time
I did in on my mobile If you text BRAD02 £1 to 70070 you donate a quid, and get a confirmation text back
In B & M castletown there is buckets at the till you can donate, one was half full ! I had two pound coins change so that went in, and each time I will donate. I cannot text. I read his story in the echo terrible for a lad to be stuck in bed, very ill at his age. I have a stack of programmes mostly SAFC from the 1950's to date about 280, two 1950's a few 1960's, loads 1970's, 80's, 90's I could sell to raise money I will get them out (in a cupboard) and see what I can do.
No need to apologise mate, it's the sort of thing that can't really have too much exposure. It's great to see so many donations coming in from fans all over the country as well.
I will stick a few bob in at the collection tomorrow outside the ground. I struggled with that Justgiving page before Xmas.
Everton's official Facebook page has shared the story and asked their fans to donate and join in with the chant for Bradley on 5 minutes; massive respect.
