Friday night on sky against a side that appear to have achieved their objective of not getting promoted again. We're currently top of the form league and they're close to the bottom so hopeful of a point at least as they look for new manager bounce. This week's random games have been chosen by Devonhoop and have a local feel to them. Cheers mate. For those who may be unfamiliar with non league football Torquay and Chester play in the national league, the division below league 2. Derby v R's..........1-2 Torquay v Chester.........1-1 Plymouth v Accrington Stanley......3-1 Good luck
I am hoping for the R's to continue their good run! As for the other matches, I admit that it took a bit of searching to find which league Torquay and Chester play in. It is the first time I have heard of the National League. Derby 1-2 QPR Torquay 2-1 Chester Plymouth 2-0 Accrington Stanley
Derby 1 ............................ 3 QPR. Torquay 3 ........................ 1 Chester. Plymouth 4 ...................... 1 Accrington.
Ski both clubs are former members of the Football League and both have sadly fallen on hard times. The National League is the feeder division for League 2 with 2 sides promoted every season to replace the bottom 2 sides in League 2. Most sides in that division are semi professional with players having regular jobs outside of football although some clubs are full time professional players Lincoln for example who did something this season that the R's no nothing about and had a Cup Run........
