Maybe its not Bruce? http://www.thisishullandeastriding....tml?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter
As I just put in the other thread https://twitter.com/mikewhitesport/status/208533515216748545 . I know the agent has no reason to lie but there's conflicting reports.
I love the fact nobody knows out. Where would the Allams be talking to prospective managers anyone any ideas?? At the KC or Millhouse Woods Lane?
Quite possibly not even in Hull - wouldn't be any obvious locations, to many prying eyes. The problem is with it being pre-season there is nobody around at the club so there really is very few ways of finding out anything.
I have no information here, merely speculating out of interest but is it possible for Hull City to approach Steve Bruce without involving his agent, or indeed could Steve Bruce have applied for the job himself without getting an agent involved? Seems unlikely but the article suggests the agent hasn't spoken to Bruce about this at all.
Well Brucies agent is hardly likely to confirm it is him as the next Hull City manager is it HDM ? The kudos for this (if it is so) will be for the Allams to confirm. imo, I still have a feeling though that it will be...1)Mad Mick, 2)Steve Bruce or 3)Ian Holloway in that order of preference. TWT.
On the flipside, I honestly cant think of a single reason, or indeed a previous example, where the agent of somebody out of work completely publicly ruled their client out of a job (as has effectively been done here) and then turned around afterwards and said "Aha, I got you".
Exactly - surely if there was something in it, then he would just say no comment blah blah blah - but to be so final and straight with what he is saying, either Bruce isn't the new manager and has never been in the running or old Stevie boy is going behind his agents back to do the deal.
Totally agree. If Bruce was in the running and his agent knew he wouldnt have categorically ruled him out like this.
To me it sounds like his agent is trying to invite Other suitors before any deal is finalised. A bit of speculation that he is being linked with the Norwich Jon but I can't see him getting that
What that man said!! also i read on another thread we'd be a better option than Norwich, i think thats a good point Grant Holt wants to leave so straight away you need a goal scorer and if you havent got a fortune to spend it could be a long season for Norwich. I can see second season cyndrome striking. This is supposing the Allams give him a decent transfer budget
With Clark and Bruce both saying they've not even spoken to us and Ehab saying he expected the manager to be signed this weekend, it seems obvious it's neither of them.
What a ****ing carry on it all is eh keep checking here for news and it's like its going round in circles all the time, Bruce one minute, somebody else the next, then Bruce again
Norwich are a better proposition than us and the way i see it is the Allams have offered Bruce the job but he is weighing up his options. Cant blame the guy for wanting to manage in the premiership
