The club have agreed that WHAM can bring a bloody bubble machine to the stadium tomorrow.

What a bloody shambles we are!

Why don't we let the game be played at Upton Park?

We can blow them all away with our 12000 FOC scarves, I welcome the chance of Premier opposition and the increased atmosphere it brings, bring it on and I'll enjoy it all the more...Up the City.

**** the bubble machine, what idiot thought that would be good idea??

Honestly, 1 step forward, 12 backwards..

I suggest any fans near enough to it in the Atyeo cover it up by throwing their free scarves over it..

Calm down people......it will all add to the atmosphere. Sing your hearts out like the Crystal Palace fans do...watched them on TV a couple of weeks ago and the noise they generated for the whole match was unbelievable. Everyone gargle some TCP tonight so you're in full voice tomorrow.

I'll be up eating my brekky shouting at the TV!

Exactly it's not like they are painting the ground claret and blue or draping a West Ham banner from the suspension bridge it's a poxy bubble machine

Its crawling up another teams arse, its not a surprise this is the only time they have ever been given permission to use this at an away ground despite numerous requests elsewhere.. I wonder if they will put some nice soft cushions down in the dugouts for the mighty premier West Ham players, or perhaps they could use our home changing rooms to make them feel at home!

****in joke.. You're miles off here. Even the media think we're mugs!

Would Palace or any other club allow West Ham to have a ****ing bubble machine in the ground? Just look at Cambridge against Man U last night, brilliant hostile atmosphere and a fantastic result for them, where they playing "glory glory man utd" on the tannoy?

It's all a bad rumour, club statement just released saying how they aren't allowing it.

BRISTOL SPORT STATEMENT REGARDING BUBBLE MACHINE
    Saturday, January 24th, 2015

In response to the news article that appeared in The Sun newspaper today and subsequent social media posts we would like to confirm that West Ham will not be bringing their bubble machine to Ashton Gate.

Bristol City FC received an official request from West Ham earlier this week to bring their bubble machine to the game on Sunday.

This was then passed to the head of operations for Bristol Sport – the company managing the stadium.

City manager Steve Cotterill was asked about this at the end of the media conference on Wednesday and gave an off-the-cuff response saying it could add to the atmosphere.

Late yesterday Bristol Sport confirmed that it had now received all the additional information that it requested on the specification of the bubble machine and would not be able to facilitate the request. No comment was sought by The Sun from Bristol Sport regarding the story.

Andrew Billingham, CEO of Bristol Sport said:

“We’re really looking forward to tomorrow’s FA Cup game and can’t wait to have our fans arrive at the stadium to see it covered with red and white scarves. We want everyone to have an amazing day and I personally think a bubble machine would distract from that. I’m sure our fans would agree.

“West Ham have fantastic supporters and will no doubt add to a great afternoon. We’re really looking forward to welcoming them to Ashton Gate.”

Thats a shame. It would have been nice to celebrate each of our goals with a flurry of bubbles like we do at home. Never mind.

Ol' Hugh Southon is a bit of a joke to us Hammers fans.

He has an uncanny knack of being completely 'ITK' about every transfer and piece of news about the club moments after it has broken in the news but never before.

Its incredible the following he has considering he has never been first to a story.

If you question his info on twitter he just blocks you!
