Historically we haven't done great away at the Turf.
Edit: oops, except that one draw we have done ok at the Turf.

Ginger Mourinho will be up for this. Burnley are very difficult to beat in their backyard.
Heaton has better Fantasy points record than Thibo, no wonder.
We need to win these games to mount more pressure on Jose & Co for the title.
Zouma's sub appearance at right sided CB was impressive.
Will be tempted to start him. Swap out Dave to Left Wingback and sit Alonso down.
    Up the Blues!!

    Thibo
    Zouma Luiz Cahill
    Moses Dave
    Matic Kante
    Pedro Hazard
    Costa

Costa to score the winner 0-1 the final score.

I advocated putting Zouma at wingback in a post a while ago and it was met with a little scepticism. Did you see him go down the wing yesterday he was like a fit Gareth Bale on steroids, not to mention his ball control and the dummy he sold the goons defender was Ronaldinhoesque.

    Abu's agreed.
Chance was squandered by one of our forwards. However Happy was playing Right CB and not Right wingback, isn't it?

Zouma could play in either position in my opinion, but I suspect he's being groomed to play as Luiz does. JT certainly can't do that anymore, nor can Cahill. Ake is a shoe in for left back or left wing, but that man Alonso keeps on coming up with great games and goals when needed. And it's his first season with us. Against Arsenal he was really good, so Ake will have to be patient. Conte is creating plenty of options right across the back 3 and the wing backs, plus Chalobah in mid field, and a couple more. I really think we have one eye on next season now when we will almost certainly be back in the CL. We will need 2 players for each position ,and I believe that's exactly what Conte is in the process of creating. I would love to see the youngsters getting more game time too, but am convinced Conte is bringing things along with purpose and intent, so I'm happy.

No need to change a winning team, especially with no mid week European games.

Defo bring the likes of Zouma on when the points are secure though.

Tough one,but can't see us losing.Think we'll lose Fab if he don't more game time between
    now and end of season.

If this is not the game, Fab will not get any other opportunities to start a league game.
when Willian cannot get a starting place - hard to justify a place for Fab over Matic or Kante.

Fabregas is so different from Kante and does give our forwards opportunities. However Kante is undroppable in his form and Matic and Fabregas don t mesh like Matic and Kante. I think Fabregas would be wise to move on as he looks likely only to be used as an impact sub. He's better than that in the right team.

Could be 12 points ahead, on 62 points and we're haven't even reached Valentine's Day!! Hope you guys can really press the accelerator to the floor and finish 20 points of the next team. To get a total in the mid 90s would be excellent. Think 88 will see you home with 3 matches to play!!

Interesting fact; Chelsea have won the title on both of Burnleys appearances in the premiership. Burnley have a great home record and we will have to be patient but I'm hoping for a 0-2 win. <ok>

This will be tough but as long as we apply ourselves in the right way, we should win pretty comfortably. 3-0.

Poor display all round from Chelsea with the exception of Moses & Kante. Passing was piss poor defo an off day but a point nonetheless the march continues.....

This went more or less the way I expected! The state of the weather, Turf Moors fortress for visiting sides, said to me a point would be as much as we could expect. In the end we battled to protect just one point and we haven't had to do that many times this season! Sometimes it's no bad thing to get a day like today out of the way!
    Back the business next week!
