Burton currently tripping up in tonight's game. Two yellows, one red, two injuries and a goal against....
Phew!!!!!!! You ain't half a nervy lot ain't you. Your boys are still giving it large on the pitch and my lot are waving a white flag. I know whose position I'd rather be in right now.
I'd swap our position for your's any day Ron. We "were" firmly in the driving seat for the play offs at least and heading in your direction not too long ago and now we are playing catch up again. Lack of motivation from our squad is what I see at the minute which is down to management as much as anything else. They shouldn't need motivation but being footballers they are fragile little boys really. If they ever had to work for a living like the rest of us either do or have had to I'd fear for a lot of them I really would. We are fading away and surrendering like we did last season. It's like watching a repeat on the tele. You can't quite recall all of the middle action but you know the ending. I'll be surprised if we make it now and that is me being realistic not wobbling. Just what you needed tonight.
Tonight's result was good for us both. You need to get your boys into the mood they were in against us. That as a painful Tuesday evening.
All I'll say to that is look at our attendance record both home and away. I think we are probably around 3rd for home support and I'd guess only second to Pompey away. The fans do their supporting and encouraging already so it shouldn't need us to get them "in the mood".
I'm happy with that, how many more wins do you think we will need. I counted 5 games we should win, with some other tricky ones.
